Is everyone else experiencing the loss of 30 miles a day my cyber truck with VIN ending in 8544 experiences this on a daily basis. Even when cabin overheat protection is turned off, and century mode is disabled the problem persists. Would love to hear if anyone else has had this issue and how they fixed it.

looks like only 4 miles due to sentry, try changing it so the app won't toggle it off.

most of it is in standby, why did you cut out the stuff to the right that says what it is?

Go ahead and rip that bandaid off and switch to percentage instead of miles lol.

That standby drain could be the energy required to download updates or upload video to Dojo. Everyone that is opting in for that will be participating for quite a while to boost the training for FSD.

Mine now drains 10% overnight. No climate kicking in and no sentry. This is terrible. Just started after last SW update. 2025.20

I get lots more drain then the model 3 2020.
The Cybertruck does have extra bad fantom drain. Hopefully they can address this issue in an upcoming update.
I only have 3 main issues for the truck.

1. while charging on ac the plugs don’t work. I camp and travel so I have a fridge that turns off when charging. So at hotel or campground that has slow ac charging now my plugs are useless.
2. fantom drain is excessive
3. Slow charging curve ( needs to stay at high speed longer )

bonus - costs to much

I still love it.

I lose less than 1% per day. Something is not right if you're losing 10x that amount, so you should open a service request.

Alternately, you could try the Power-Cycling procedure:

https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/...1-4E00-8A04-1D198116B859.html#:~:text=Cycling

Go to Controls > Safety > Power Off, wait two minutes (don't touch anything or open the door) and then press the brake pedal to wake it up. Note that Sentry mode must be disabled first.

and if needed, the hard-restart:

https://service.tesla.com/docs/Cybe...UID-A399E8AE-5DCF-4095-91FA-AF0148503F3B.html

The hard-restart involves disconnecting the MV battery briefly, so some disassembly is required, but I've done it before.

• I'd reboot, to make sure the vehicle takes your settings.

• Try turning off the View Camera via Mobile App. That drain might also partially default to Sentry. Notice the MobileApp is also showing some energy usage.

• Turn off the outlets.

• Lastly, your big issue is Vehicle Standby. To me, that's the fudge category. But, my experience is that temperature changes can cause the pack to lose estimated range. In particular, temperature drops.

Here's an example:

After 5 days of driving, my truck has used 10.1% while parked. I've circled the 4 things that used energy and 3 are explainable. Yes, I have Sentry on when I'm at the gym. Yes, I used the app to check on my truck. Yes, I sat in the truck and fiddled with the settings.

The one I can't fully explain is Vehicle Standby, like you. But...
Tesla Cybertruck Excessive Battery Drain IMG_1245

that shows my 5 days of driving, separated by red vertical lines. I used 26.8% while driving. I used 10.1% while parked. That's 36.9% total. Is it right?

Yes. I started at 60% and it's now 23%, that's 37% with rounding. So, what does that mean?

It means, all my energy usage should be reflected on the above energy usage chart. What else do I know? I know Sentry is used at my gym, not at home, so any drops due to Sentry should be in the middle of my daily drive, when I'm at the gym.

The 4.1% drop due to Vehicle Standby should primarily be when the truck sits overnight. And, notice two big drops, where I've put blue arrows. Those are easy about 2%. What happened? In my anecdotal case, the temp cooled off more than avg on those two days, from the previous day.

When I start the truck, the BMS is calculating the pack size, and if it's substantially cooler, the amount of energy will be less, than the amount it calculated the day before.

That's my theory. Do you have warm days, and cool mornings?

Edit: Okay, the obvious question is, if there are overnight drops due to cooling temps, are there ever increases due to warming temps?

Yes. For me, if it's cool overnight, while my Tesla is charging, and then I drive out, and park somewhere very warm, it'll show an increase:

That's my Model 3. I drove to a doctor's appt, and my car sat in the direct sun for 2hrs. When I got back, it had gained about 2.5% SOC as the pack warmed up.

That is inline with what I would expect rather than loosing 30 to 40 miles a day in standby mode.

Did you remember to change the zincs? Must be done every 6 months. I was shocked at mine being completely sacrificed in less than a year... stray current in the water is a b*tch.
