My CyberBeast is due in 7-10 days and I am wondering what to expect for FSD version and Tires. Hoping for version 12 like I saw on an employees Cybertruck as well as the higher range All Season Tires. My VIN is #164 so it was expected to have l been built recently per Tesla.
If you can share when you received yours that would be good. Especially if recent.

Did they enable FSD on the Cybertruck yet?

There are no driver assist features, no FSD, no advanced autopilot, etc.

Ok that’s a bummer. I got fooled by seeing version 12.2.1 on the CT I rode in. This needs to be fixed. We need at least autopilot for highway trips. .

Recently did a 1000 mile road trip and yes, at least Autopilot would have been useful. It was still a nice experience, but nothing like road tripping on my Model X with FSD.

Nice, how was the trip?
Charging speed, getting mobbed at chargers, and wh/mile.
Love to get your feedback and see a pick of your wh/mile efficicency if you have one.

Hope it was a great drive.

Yes, it was a good ride. The tire noise was significant, even so that it bothered me sometimes. I don't normally care about it, but when I drive I usually listen to music very loudly, so I don't hear it. This time I had a family with me, so the volume was very low.

I did 3 coast to coast trips with my Model X and even Autopilot was a huge help, but in the last one, I had FSD and it was very easy. I really missed at least an Autopilot on the CT.

Besides that it was a very nice experience, the suspension is great, handling is good and you don't really feel that it's a 3 ton vehicle. I would say it rides like any new Tesla. Due to the large tires, it is less sensitive to potholes, which is a big plus. The bumper camera is a must, especially for parking. I will never buy any new Tesla in the future without a bumper camera. It offsets the lack of camera based parking assist and the lack of beeping pretty well.

~2200 miles (from Clearwater, FL to Chicago, IL and back) costed $390. Unfortunately I did not have Tessie installed yet, so I cannot tell much details about efficiency. I think overall in the last ~4700 miles we are about 500 Wh/mi, but I will tell exactly once we got the car back.

Wow that is a serious trip, would love to get the figures once the car is back, how was the charging experience?

The carging experience was great: mostly 250kW chargers and usually ~30-40 minutes charging times. Charging is practically not a problem, because we spent lots of time shopping, so time flew.

Most of the chargers were empty or had only 1-2 cars and the attention the truck got more attention from the local passers (_what is this?_) by rather than other Tesla owners, even though they sometimes came and see it as well. There was one exception: Elizabethtown, KY was a very busy supercharger (the car redirected me to another one, but I overwrote it) and there the truck got a lot more attention, too, even though it is not a huge charger (8 stalls only) and not next to a popular stop.

Is there any word on when the FSD on CT can be expected? I upgraded from TM3 to CT and definitely miss the FSD.

Every Cybertruck that has been or will be delivered, at least into the summer, is a Foundation Series and has AT tires. Didn’t you read the list of features before ordering?
