Ha! I think it's full-sized, as in not a mini/micro vehicle, but looks to be more of what we would call mid size. Like a Tacoma/ Ranger/Frontier/Rivian.

Yeah, it does seem to be a bit smaller than a modern Ranger.

But there's been truck inflation over the years.

That truck looks so familiar. Like I have seen it before... I wonder why...

After owning a Tesla for a while, it is quite odd seeing so many EVs with full engine compartments.

IMO the frunk on my Model Y is like a super-power. It doesn't double useful storage by any means, but it doubles the number of useful storage areas which can often be as important.

I know this truck isn't US bound, but it seems like a fair number of EVs that come to the US don't have frunks and I am floored that the reviewers don't ding them hard for that lack.

It's not really a full engine compartment. It's kind of an empty, badly used one.
Pretty typical of a EV "engine" compartment (no engine in sight so term doesn't really apply well).

Well, it being an ICE chassis adapter to EV is really the problem.

We're going to end up with thousands of these half-thought-out vehicles tat will last for awhile while the newer models are vastly cheaper to build and better to own but still reserved for 'the rich'. Ugh.

Companies got to do what they got to do. I hope they use decent batteries and motors. I hate to see consumers get stuck with paper weights.

The funny thing about this is I've seen the design in EVs which are allegedly build from the ground up as EV platforms. The Hyundai (or Kia I forget which) EV6 has no frunk.

Sandy Munro went off when he saw the lack of a frunk in the ID-4. I agree, no frunk, no bueno!

It doesn't have much of a front-end, either.

Model 3 isn't exactly a front end giant either.

The EV6 is a lot less expensive than the Model Y so I wouldn't expect it to swallow bags and gear the way the Model Y does, but I bet the Model 3 has close to the same total storage as the EV6.

I just love the extra/ separate storage. It's a huge convenience.

Exactly.

Looked at what they are selling for $30k USD. There is no use case that offsets its purchase price. Excepting, of course, pride of ownership. Buying and owning an EV pickup fisrt on the block.
