How do you pre-order Range Extender?

You will be able to, once Foundation is over...
FSD is basically free to Tesla and they need sources of profit margin while ramping Cybertruck production.

I can understand the range extender not being wanted by most but for me if you will do a lot of long range or busy traffic commuting then FSD is just so much better than manual driving. I hated having a clutch in SoCal freeway start-stop driving. Now I hate not having FSD. It’s just amazing.

Wow. There's no check box when I looked at the web configurator.

I wonder if that's a bug that's been off and on?

Range Extender costs them alot more than FSD, and has a higher price than FSD ever has been set to.

I see range extender on both mobile and desktop sites (Firefox).

When I configured, it listed the Range Extender and the $500 price to reserve, but there was no checkbox to actually order it. I just assumed it was an upgrade I'd be able to add after delivery.

There are definitely some glitches in the app and web configurators.

I've talked to three people at different service centers and they are unable to add it retroactively for whatever reason. I will just have to add it when it's released officially and go to the back of the line.
