Hi All,

First time Tesla owner here...Foundation Series Cybertruk...6 days old.

LOVE IT.

HVAC stopped cooling today, brought it to Service Center and they took it back right away to work problem (kudos to staff at Ft Laud/Fed Hwy Center).

Anyone else experience this issue?

Yes, I experienced the same issue and error. My issue was a leak at the supermanifold. Luckily it occurred two days prior to an already scheduled appt for other issues and they had the part in stock (thank goodness)

Similar situation for me. First time Tesla owner and I sold my gas car after having my Cybertruck for 2 days because I knew I would never want to drive it again! I love this truck! At 1100 miles I got a Low Coolant error and am having a flatbed come haul it to my service center. I plan on driving it from Denver to Phoenix in a couple weeks, so I am glad the problem happened now but also hoping this will be the ONLY problem!

Perhaps post your error screen and keep us posted of the fix?

Thanks!!

No word yet on exact part(s) that are broke hard, but app is telling me they have been ordered with ETA of 3 Jul. That would put my 5-day old $100K+ CT down on HVAC for ~30days by the time it gets fixed and returned back to me at this pace.

To be clear, reps at service center have been very polite, they don't have a magic wand...I get it.

I really have had a great (limited) experience with the my CT, but HOLY SMOKES is this a big ouch.

For context I have 345 miles on mine.

- Drove to work...everything fine
- Got back in truck mid-day and HVAC error appeared
-- Tried to "reset" panel, blah, blah, blah...still error
- Went to app and showed appt 2 weeks out...in SoFL heat
- Drove to SC and they told me HVAC was an "emergency issue" and took truck right away
-- Due to flooding in SoFL, they were backed up with other repairs, so it took them a week to diagnose
- Parts were originally scheduled for early Jul, then pushed out to mid-Jul
-- I reminded SC this would put situation beyond FL "Lemon Law" (not being adversarial, just a fact)
-- They searched far and wide across fleet and found parts and trying to get me back on road before 1 Jul

We shall see....

Welcome to owning a Tesla I guess?

More to follow...

Update:

- CT down now almost 30 days
- SC staff have been very professional
- Had to scour all North America for parts
-- 1kV AC Compressor
-- AC Compressor - High Voltage Harness
-- Ancillary Device Cluster Assembly
- Trying to put humpty dumpty back together for 2-days now...no word yet

VCSUPER_a396: Powertrain / HVAC performance limited.
Coolant Low - Schedule Service
---------------------------------------------------
So, this sounds similar to Paul's & Lisa's issue. (I didn't know what VCSUPER meant, but the manifold makes sense)

So I picked up my NEW 12 mile CB on 6/22 from Richmond,VA. and the next morning this error showed up. After trying to reach a human, I was approved to return the vehicle 6/25. There was a message on the app stating that parts were ordered. Oh well, new model issues. ;-)

I got this same error last week they couldn’t find any leaks but coolant was low… they think it just didn’t get filled all the way off the production line. I hope this is the problem for all of us… but it might be that we all are experiencing the early stages of another recall sadly.

My leak was at the Coolant Bottle. I got Coolant Low, Powertrain / HVAC performance limited. They replaced the Coolant Bottle and I was good to go. It was in the shop for 4 days waiting for parts. I got it back on the 25th.

I’m sorry, I hate to make my first post about this.
I am 2018 RWD Long Range M3 owner (one of the first) and a hopeful Cybertruck owner when regular production kicks in.

I can’t help but hear about all of these problems these cybertrucks are having. Between this AC issue, windshield wiper, “rust” I know it’s not actual rust, accelerated pedal, and a few others. This truck objectively was not and is not ready for mass production. It saddens me to see this being so rushed. Overpromised range and price that were both failures at launch.

Again, I am an early model 3 adopter and have had ZERO issues with my car now 80k miles. I want the Cybertruck to succeed but man these stories are horrific imo

Shouldn’t have mentioned rust in the list! You loose credibility.

Well, no one likes recalls and repairs after buying a vehicle. Look at the brighter side, all the early adopters/enthusiasts are making your future CT better.

I totally get it and the “rust” this was corny but I’ve never heard of it being an issue with any other car regardless of its rail debris or whatever it is.

I agree 100% that these issue will make the truck a better product when I’m able to buy. I do feel awful for people dumping over 100k for this truck and to have these MAJOR issues with it is not only unacceptable but heartbreaking. We’re talking people with less than 1k miles having issues that would cost thousands of dollars if not under warranty. What’s next down the line?! I hate to throw out unnecessary FUD but this story is writing itself.
