I am RN #1143xxx and I received my invitation on 5/22. I still haven't configured my truck after reading so many bad news about it.
Lots of really negative information out there for Cybertruck and Tesla. I considered cancelling due to all of this hate, but went through with the delivery. I'm glad I did at this point, then again if the price abruptly drops maybe I'll change my tune, but probably not. I would say if you can afford it go for it. If you can not afford it and would have to sacrifice to buy it or hope that it appreciates rather than depreciates do not buy it. But don't not buy it because a bunch of haters on the Internet are salty it doesn't look like a Rivian, tow like a Ram Cummins, and have the range of an Aptera for the low, low price of $39k

I had a RN119xxx and configured on 5/10 but WITH the early shareholder program.
Which either suggests that:
1. There are over 7 million+ on order based on your recent RN, or;
2. The RN# isn't sequential and the OP isn't the ~500,000 reservation

Pretty obvious to anyone that they aren't offering the 500,000th reservation a FS.

As to all the 'bad reviews' and this FUD, I can only think that whoever suggests this is a fact is a avid reader of MSM. I don't know what's more sad, the fact that MSM constantly lies to us, or that people still believe it. MSM media hasn't put out a good Tesla story since Elon bought X.

Next time you own a company (X) that is making the competition obsolete (MSM), think about how your competitors will talk about you, then you understand the 'bad reviews', and why Elon, and everything he touches, are target #1.

Anything is possible! Most reservation holder are passing on the Foundation Series, they just want a regular CT. Nothing is wrong with that and that would not mean cancelling their reservation. This is normal. You should be glad you got your FS CT. 42,069 ;)Foundation Series CT out of millions is not much if you think about it.

How do you deal with "safety" of your young kids at home in the kitchen when they can play with knives?

I think it's more to do with teaching your kids about being careful than anything else. I personally wouldn't be concerned and I also have kids.
Completely agree. Our 3 year old tells everyone who looks at the truck, ‘The door is sharp, be careful’. I’ve showed him and taught him to stay away and watch out. He absolutely loves the truck and the screens!

There are several people/entities with a huge incentive to SLOW DOWN the Tesla freight-train any way they can. They have "employed" (paid) several in the media to assist them, and to a large extent that strategy is succeeding.

The vehicles are amazing - not perfect. Can TSLA make it against the massive headwinds blowing against them? That's the gamble stockholders are facing. Not whether or not the product is good.

Yeah, I also heard many good reviews, but the bad ones made me very concerned. For example, there was a report about a sharp edge causing a wrist cut injury during delivery, which required an ER visit. I have a few small kids, and their safety is a major concern for me. That's why I've been debating whether to wait or get something else. Some influential YouTubers, like 'TheSmokingFire,' also complained about their Cybertruck and said it's not worth $100k.

Safety is the #1 priority for me and my family. That's why I'm waiting to see if Tesla is going to do anything w CT sharp edges.
If you give TheSmokingFire any credence and let that sort influence your decisions, I can't offer you any further advice.

Must be a 1 in 20 conversion rate. I'd venture to say more than half of the reservation holders have more than 1 reservation. So maybe FS buyers run out this year sometime.
But if people have RN#117, that's 5M reservations to date?
Someone Correct me if I am wrong but I am 117xxx, that doesn’t mean I was 5 million back.. i think those numbers include all Tesla products ..

Just received, May 29. I am RN 11323XXX. My place in line is 495,744. How can I be getting my truck now? Is everyone passing up their opportunity? Am I getting catfished somehow?
Im rn 1133x and mine came yesterday. I knew this was going to happen too, i bought a used model y at the beginning if the month thinking it was going to be at least the fall till i got my invite… i have been saving and have like $50k saved for the truck, but now they wont take the model y back and they want to offer me $10k less than i put down on it, so id be losing $10k on top of an $800/month car payment for the truck and god knows what for the insurance…. Ugh im going to have to pass for now… sorry about your hand

To keep kids safe in the kitchen, store knives in high places or locked drawers. Always watch them and create a safe play area. Teach kids that knives are dangerous and show safe habits. Use stove knob covers and appliance locks, and keep counters clear of sharp objects. Give kids safe, age-appropriate tasks under supervision.

You can't lock your Cybertruck. If the edges are very sharp, small kids, who are often careless and lack awareness, could get hurt. How can you prevent accidents if they play tag in the backyard? You can't always remember to move your truck.

I love Matt Farah, in fact I know him personally and he even reviewed one of my cars on his YouTube channel. No, we are not great or close friends, just know each other.

But he's a Tesla and Elon hater to the core. He knows it, and will tell you that to your face. He hated the CT from the moment it was introduced. He'll always hate it, and hate everything Tesla does. It's no secret. This video was made out of hatred for the brand more than anything and I wouldn't take it seriously at all. He's the very last person you want to listen to criticism from, trust me.
Haha, haters don't tell the truth. He hates Tesla, so I'm wondering why he bought a Cybertruck.

Of course, one YouTuber wouldn't influence my decision, but the fact that multiple Cybertruck owners have been hurt by sharp edges sounds alarming to me.

Tesla brings views no matter which side of the fence you are on. I'm sure he makes a decent amount of coin with the anti-Tesla banter. But that also means he has to feature the product in order to downplay the product.
