Earlier this month another company cancelled a contract because...my portfolio had a photo shoot with a Cybertruck and American Flag.

It doesn't matter to certain people when you purchased your Tesla they just want to hate you for the sake of hating you.

I don't think entrepreneurs should have their businesses targeted with hate messages or fake reviews.

Hope it's okay to post a link to share a new subreddit for Tesla Business Owners to come together and support each other.

Sorry you’re having to deal with that, it’s so annoying. Unfortunately, consumers have the power to do that, just sucks when one is on the receiving end.

What makes it worse in your scenario is that the CT is a part of your portfolio, so it shouldn’t matter. Are you supposed to decline photographing a cybertruck for your work? How lame is that.

As a fellow business owner, I understand the challenges of staying true to yourself while growing a brand. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I let public perception dictate my decisions. While it’s disappointing to lose a client, loyalty built on superficial factors is never sustainable.

At the end of the day, when you deliver undeniable quality, products, and customer service. The work speaks for itself—and the right clients recognize and value that.

I started my company 12 years ago. I’m the sole owner with 20+ employees/contractors, and one of the important lessons I’ve learned is to let go of bad clients and bad prospects.

If a customer is that petty, you don’t want to be of service to them.

Ignore the revenue loss and forge on, finding customers that align with your values.

Wow, I didn't know companies could make such stupid choices. Just move on, that's crazy.

You don't need customers like that.

One way to keep this from happening is keep your business separate from your personal space. I'm self employed. No clients allowed on my personal social media, nothing political or personal on my business page. There are vendors I avoid, less for their politics than for the low social IQ of not keeping them to themselves.

We have all learned to vote with our wallets, I assume my clients do as well.

If a client comes to the office--rare for the last decade--they will see what I drive. Other than that, no one knows that I'm a liberal gun totin hunter/fisherman with a CT in a red state.

I bet they would have attached a 50% contractual bonus if you had a rainbow flag instead of an American flag.

These people are really stupid, and the old saying is true, "You can't fix stupid".

Is it possible you have gained business thru the Cybertruck and American Flag presentation? I mean, if I was myself was looking for a service or purchase, as a Tesla enthusiast, I would probably be more attentive to ads with stuff I like.

It's time not to get mad but get smart. I suggest confronting this person face to face in order to help them see the truth. For preparation here are a couple of things to watch and share, The first is about the woman you will see in the second link. It explains who she is and gives her credibility. The second link (after about 4 minutes in) this same woman explains who is behind all the Tesla hate.

Your second link takes me to MY Gmail Inbox. It's not a link to a video.
