NOw NOw. Lets use the proper rocketry terminology. NOT explosion or exploded or explody.

A few Starships or boosters might experience a rapid dis-assembly.
Now now, it's not a failure if it was planned. It's only the rapid unplanned disassembly we worry about. Or RUD for short. As long as things are norminal, no reason to worry.

I think the phrase we are supposed to use now at work is “a thermal event“. I recently got yelled at, nobody told me we no longer use the word “catastrophic”.

RUD is like lego...you have to take it apart first before you can build something better.

This poll reminds me a bit of Elon asking if he should step down as CEO of Twitter; don’t ask questions you don’t want answered.
Lol, on the surface it certainly is good advice. But in this case, the Agency was already looking for a CEO when he created the Poll.

He always wants others to think they made the decision. Same as when he asked if he should buy Twitter.

Elon has said in the past, quote : he runs all his new companies personally before handing over.

Guy is a genius. CEO to do the boring stuff, he will oversee the software, save the planet and create X.

My dog has found a use for the mid gate. It could be a passage way between the cab and bed access.

Might be cool but it's no real loss if it can't be done.

My mom once had a sheepdog...and an S10 with a cap and a passage between cab and bed area. The dog loved it.

I've had a few friends that bought chevy Avalanches new because they just HAD to have this feature. Neither of them used it much and both reverted back to regular beds. Just as an FYI.

Anyone voting no probably hasnt slept in their truck. A decent size midgate would almost instantly make the CT branch into the van market partially.

Main reason for no midgate is amphibious mode. Midgate sinks, costs more and is harder to make safe against loads and injury.
So somehow in amphibious mode the midgate seal would be weaker than the doors? There won’t be an amphibious mode. The truck will never be warranted to be submersed in water.
