Interesting, I wonder why? And do you have a link to this?
It's a handy feature to have and allows powering things with the vault locked.
The service write up in the OP on this thread is saying what I am talking about.
From a year+ ago, Chevrolet already has this idea on their Silverado. Picture below (orange outlined) has just 120v/20a but there is a 240v/30a version too.

You should be able to charge any Tesla with the included Powershare Mobile Connector at full 32 amps. Used it back in July when a Model Y was stranded about 2 miles from some Superchargers with 0% charge. Also tested just now to make sure something had not changed with the software updates over the last couple months. Still works well!
