Do any of you have issues with My Q? About every 2 weeks, it will show a network error next to the button at the top of the screen. If I press the setting to go into My Q, it hangs and won't open the screen. I do a 2 button reset on the truck and after everything powers back up, it works fine... for another couple of weeks. I had this on 2024.20.9 and now 2024.26.3.1. Anyone else?

I suspect that it is in the middle of transferring from home Internet to cellular.
For a little bit, it just can't talk to the MyQ servers, but mine seems to retry.

I have MyQ issues all the time now. Constantly getting error, and needing to pull out my phone to close it via the app. Super annoying.
I had to do that this morning! I think that @Woodrick is correct. I have a similar issue with Spotify. Sometimes when I leave my house my music will stop and it gets hung up on buffering/loading the song that was playing. If I swap to a different streaming app then back to Spotify that tends to do the trick. Getting out of the truck to let it shutdown/sleep and getting back in works every time but is not ideal.

I haven't had any issues at all with MyQ and the CyberTruck. I have set to 'auto open' and 'auto close' and it hasn't failed to work - a little over 2 months. I am using the MyQ Smart Garage Control w/ a Chamberlain opener - very strong wifi between my Access Point and Garage.

Thanks everyone. I guess I could be seeing issues with the switch between networks because I have seen Spotify act strange but sometimes, but most times when this occurs, its when my CT has been sitting all night connected to wifi. After reboot of the truck, it reconnects to wifi and then works. I'll experiment with the placement of my wifi router to see if signal strength is part of this.

I returned the MyQ hardware and cancelled the service after the app told me the garage was open after we departed. I called a neighbor to close it and he said the garage was already closed. Other issues is the latency of MyQ opening the garage, that means me sitting in driveway for 10 seconds waiting for the garage door to open. Now I use the old fashioned version of a remote on my visor. Cost less and works great. My model 3 was great when I would approach the garage door would open. That was much better than stupid MyQ.

HomeLink worked perfectly in my Model Y. My Q doesn't seem quite as good but it at least knows the state of the door (open/closed).

Agree on everyone's sentiments. HomeLink was so wonderful and convenient. I double-side-taped the garage door clicker behind my CT screen. Easy to reach and invisible to keep the clean aesthetics of the car. I have Apple Homekit to inform me if the garage doors are left open as a nice back up.

Interesting. MyQ actually shows me in the tuck whether the door is open or closed, opening or closing.

And you open door may have been a malfunction or something passing in front of a sensor, so it is always pruduent to verify. And it's better than the classic garage door openers that Tesla had before, the ones that only sends commands to "do it". My wife had damage on her Leaf when she opened the door and was pulling in as my car sent the command to open, which indeed closed it.

Except that HomeLink didn't send separate open and close commands and didn't report on the status of the door.

Homelink works so well you can see it open when you arrive and see it close when you leave and don’t have to wait around for an internet connection to connect. Hamelink is so, so much better in my opinion. CT needs homelink. Are you listening, Elon?

I've got Homelink on two of my Teslas and really wanted to stay there.

But with MyQ I don't have to look at the garage door, the truck shows me closing and closed.

If you have a wall mount (shaft connected), would you guys mind including which of these 3 and the models you are using that you really like? Planning a house build and want a rock solid one for use with the CT.
