The Supercharger Network is superior to all other private and public networks combined. And Tesla paid for it out of their own pocket. Because they manufacture efficiently. They even make the Superchargers themselves in their Buffalo, N.Y. factory. The other charge networks buy crappy equipment and software from suppliers. Most countries with a large amount of EVs have used incentives to do it. And their Governments have installed charging infrastructure. So I feel people here still need some kind of incentive to switch from gas to electric. Our public charging is garbage. Tesla has done what they can but for the majority of customers to switch it will take easy charging and lower prices.
Big oil donates large amounts to candidates and political action committees, putting government firmly in the pocket of big oil. No one raises an eyebrow. But when Elon donates to a political action committee, they act like it's just not right.
