Requesting my PCS failure badge too. Noticed 24A charging from mobile charger, wall charger, and powershare wall charger. Made a service appointment on 3/27 to cover PCS replacement, cantrail replacement, OEM light bar recall, and passenger window adjustment. Service set for 4/23. Unable to charge on AC this morning, but can still charge on DC. Service center requests that I charge DC until my service appointment, which is a little inconvenient, but not life ending.

Sorry to hear. Good luck. How many miles are on your Beast? Are PCS failures at a semi predictable mileage or all over .. low - high?

Yep, as a kid the most readily available PC was the HeathKit lol. I understood the basics of logic circuits, but not of electronic design, so I waited to get a computer pre-assembled (IBM 5150). Been banging on keyboards ever since.
I wasn't far behind you with my first true PC being the IBM PCjr. Despite it being a flop, It seeded my career so its value far exceeded its reviews for me.

Yea good luck with that, Tesla likes to diagnose, then order parts, then wait, then install.
My service center in Orland Park, IL is exactly this. Even when you send them pics of broken glass. Not sure I have ever made a scheduled visit with details and them ever having the parts needed that I can recall. Mind you, I have only minimal complaints with the work they do at, at least no worse than any other reputable place. Tesla has never been praised for their service speed process that I can ever recall of. This is going to need to improve though if they hit the sales targets they are forecasting or it will be a huge mess.

Proactive action would be for Tesla to acknowledge the failues, recall the defective part, not wait until their customers are stranded 100’s miles from a Tesla SC. I don’t appreciate having to worry everytime I plan a tripm that I will stranded and left to deal with the problem.
I tried to be proactive by scheduling PSC replacement before taking long vacation trip, but was told “can’t schedule, have to wait for part failure”. SC gave me their direct phone number, said “call me directly when (not IF) truck fails to charge,, will see what can do at that time”. (I guess you can call that “proactive”!!! 🤬🤬🤬Yes, I am also a Tesla investor plus owner of two Tesla vehicles, I don’t believe this is the way any company should treat their loyal customers.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to find yourself "hundreds of miles from a Tesla Supercharger"?

I'm only around 20k miles so it doesn't really seem milage dependent. It's probably charge frequency related.

yeah this guy “only” had to get towed over 90 miles in the middle of the night. whats inconvenient about that? 🙄 6:40. keep watching after to discover what an improper replacement does too (along with heavy heavy use)

Any way to handle this proactively at SC? I’m sure they’ll say it’s fine until it’s not.

Until there's a recall or tsb, I don't think they'll proactively fix the issue. Before either of those two happen, they'll need to identify the failure mechanism and determine the scope of affected vehicles.

So far they are stating that the parts are on order in advance of my appointment and stated they expect them before my appointment in 2+ weeks. They did say they are prioritizing those trucks that can't charge at all and I should do what I can to nurse it along. I think the odds are 50/50 it will be there. I asked them to give me the version number of the Parts they install just for this groups edification. Generally, I have been overall satisfied with my service center. I had much worse experiences with my RAM truck and getting both an appointment and turn around. In fact one time after leaving messages for 2 1/2 weeks and no response from Ram, I drove to the dealership and stood there for 30 mins until someone would talk to me to make an appointment.

I did read somewhere you could lose total power while driving. What is the possibility of that happening?

Been there, done that in North America. Even now Superchargers are still hundreds of miles from those spots. Just one of the spots, Caniapiscau Reservoir. At the end of the Trans-Taiga Road. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans-Taiga_Road
Oh, yeah, the northernmost road in Eastern Canada. I was speaking of the lower 48. You can also find spots even more remote from a Supercharger in Siberia, LOL!

You are helping to prove just how much of an edge case you need to bring up to find yourself hundreds of miles from a Supercharger!

My truck has been in the Milford CT service center since end of March for the PCS replacement. It was supposed to be finished already. They keep pushing back because can’t get the parts. They now told me the ETA for the part is April 28th. If it actually comes and they fix it; it will be over a month without my truck for this repair. I can imagine any trucks that came after mine or going in now are going to be waiting even longer.

I have a 2025 CT with 7500 miles and got the following codes on April 16: HVBATT_a170 (Acceleration and top speed reduced), HVBATT_a056 (Unable to charge), and HVBATT_a742 (Vehicle may not restart). I took the truck immediately to the Chattanooga TN SC and was told that my CT has a PCS failure. It is interesting to me that the codes are all HVBATT codes (I believe the HV battery has an 8 year unlimited miles warranty) but I am told the PCS is not covered under this warranty. I was provided a model Y loaner and was promised a completed repair on May 7. Based on what i am reading, in seems like May 7 is optimistic. I love the CT but I am wondering if I should sell it when I get it back. This is my first post....

I have the same amazing and great Cybertruck, July 2025 build
My PCS was replaced 1/2026 after not achieving 320-500 kw max DCFC
I was never stranded

You will get the corrected rev -G new part.
Your truck is great.
This is a minor blip
I don’t expect needing the 2026+ new warranty as I new have the right part now
Enjoy your truck
Once fixed this will be done
