About as much as a sticker on the vehicle, lol. Any aero efficiency probably negated by the addition of unsprung weight (more negative effect than weight added anywhere else on vehicle). Disclaimer, I'm speculating based on education, but am no Tesla engineer.

Unsprung weight is a measure of suspension rebound, I think you mean “Rotational Mass”

I’m guessing it’ll be around 5% based on other Tesla models! Just did a trip to PA and back to FL. I’m not sure if it’s just me but CT estimated range is much better than Model y and 3.

My model y increased in accuracy tremendously over the last 3 months. Looks like they're tinkering by use of software patches. Or maybe it's by way of software releases, but it seems to have been several iterations during a time when I got only 2 updates. Anyway, range reporting accuracy is much better.

Has anyone actually seen any proof that these are in fact on their way? I’ve read a few articles but they all reference the same x post without any new details or corroborating accounts. I like the redesign and I’d love to have this asap. I have avoided buying any temporary fix as I wait.

I got an email from Tesla that they were coming and that I should stand by for my instructions to come in once they've arrived at my local Tesla shop. But now that I have temporary ones that are stylish, I'm not sure whether I prefer the tesla replacements or my more stylish ones off Etsy.

I'm not a fan of those covers. With significant efficiency gains i would throw them on, but in lieu of that. I'm with @SentinelOne. Did get UPS shipping notification from Tesla Freemont, so I guess they may be on their way...
