125 k for all of 2024??? Not many.

That number may be a regulatory number rather than an expectation. I remember when the Midel Y started rolling out at GigaAustin and GigaBerlin that Tesla was only allowed to make a certain number and later that number went higher. Maybe Tesla has to tell regulators how many CTs they expect to make and they said ’at least 125K’ and the regulators said ‘ok’. Just a guess.

I recall the good 'ol days when I could buy 13 base Cybertrucks with my Tesla shares. I'll be lucky if I can afford one when it comes out if share price keeps falling and CT price reaches Model X levels..

that’s not what they said - what they said means they’ll make less than 125K in CY 2024

they said the line built for a capacity of 125k/yr, and they separately said they won’t hit that 125k run rate until sometime in 2024

soif they don’t get up to a 125k run rate until late in 2024, they’ll make a whole lot less than 125K in CY 2024

if they hit the 125k run rate earlier in 2024, then they’ll still make less than 125K in CY 2024

in all, the signal here is: at present, we expect to make less than 125K in CY 2024, and how much less depends on how the ramp goes and how quickly we can get up to a run rate of 125K/yr

I was in the Spelunking Club in my Civic following Jeeps around. I never had to do any maintenance, they were always welding them back together. Amazed I'd follow them as far as I did, never needing help or breaking anything.

It was mostly the guys in the Jeeps took more chances than I did, but I knew where I could push it.

hHas anyone called Tesla just to inquire about their Cybertruck reservation? I called today, and the lady at Tesla asked me if I had received an email to complete the configuration of my Cybertruck. I replied that I hadn't and inquired if others were already receiving those emails. She mentioned that she believes so. Not sure if there’s any truth to that
