Then tesla should pay us back the cost for the wheel covers .... another credit voucher to buy from Tesla store for the "OUT OF STOCK" items ...

its WIN WIN for Tesla .. put expiry date on the voucher, keep items out of stock and say one time use only ...

This has been my biggest concern. Let us "backorder" something to use the credits and then take delivery when the part becomes available. I'm 100% OK with doing that.

I still suspect they will just introduce all new wheels with a similar look integrated into the structure of the wheel itself and not simply a cover you can pop on and off. That would of course mean they’d have to retrofit current owners with something similar.

I just doubt they’re settling for the bland look they’re putting out currently.

Tesla should just provide free Supercharging to the original owner for life. That would offset some of these minor things Foundation Series owners have been dealing with since launch.

I'd be OK with just a dollar amount of Supercharging equal to the cost of what they haven't delivered on, with no stupid expiration date.

I picked up my new Cybertruck on Tuesday the 18th. The Sales Manager told me that he had received an email that day from the higher ups saying that the wheel covers are not coming back. Thought I'd pass on the word and see if anybody else had heard the same.

By the way, first time poster, but long time reader. This place was a wealth of knowledge for me prior to order/pickup. Thanks!!

Getting mine tomorrow in Miami Gardens… I’ll be sure to ask. They have pushed my delivery spot twice now, I’m guessing for the wiper motor issue…

I posted this in the thread about a month ago. But the sales manager at our location already confirmed the same thing. He said they attempted to fix it and still causing issues so it’ll be discontinued and he didn’t know what will fill the void but he said something eventually will. So yeah it kind of sucks because I loved the look of that original hubcap. For now I went to Etsy and bought some plugs for the center cap. It really is kind of mind blowing that the technology in this truck and the technology behind SpaceX, but they can’t figure out that a tire will flex on the road when the hubcap won’t. It’s common sense.
