The same error message came back. I submitted a service request to Tesla and they set after remote diagnostics, I have to get replacement parts which I assume is the PCS again and they said it's out of stock and will give me free supercharging until they get the parts in
Is your AC charging not working?

If you can still charge and are getting the pcs2_a051 message, I would hold off on getting any random guess parts replaced. Saw someone else had the same symptoms and they replaced the charge port. Not sure if that resolve the issue.

That was me. It didn't resolve the issue of the error message. I'm still able to charge okay but occasionally my truck throws the error that the pcs2 is missing in action.

I got the PCS2_a051 message also but did not include the "bmsmia". I could speculate bmsmia means battery management system missing in action. I also got the message stating this alert is no longer active on my truck. later got the message that "charge connector update is in progress".
and that the website that lists PCS2 revision numbers vs. VIN numbers came back as RevG-T2

I know others have said that it is not related to the charging device. But this error showed up only after the third time on the new wall charger after nearly a year of charging at 31 amps on a non Tesla mobile connector, so I'm going back to charging on the mobile connector, gonna make charge at 24 amps, and at night then the garage is cooler.

I know many want to think causation. Myself included. Yet if it is a hardware issue and the product needs to be used, it is a matter of time. We can create mythical hoops, or hoola-hoops, but these would be anecdotal, and not of a large group experiment. Like. I charge on my mobile charger at 17 amps each night and so do 475 others. Of that group only 2 PCS failures.

Speaking of @CyberGus. Please anoint me with the survivor patch I created with my friends at google. I am now part of the club so to speak. Service out a month, and free charging enabled.

I am done with mine, and wished it didn't happen now, as I can't sell it. Exponentially worse truck/car than my Model 3 launch with a 2000 vin.

Yeah the guy that created the patch had it happen to him. After a battery replacement in March. I hope the media reads up on this.

After latest update i had that alert twice in a day. Scheduled service. Tech returned my message. Said he didnt see any hardware issue (yet) and to watch it. Odd thing is I wasn't charging either time. Two days ago. I’ve charged twice on my home charger since. No issues. No further alerts yet.
