I was an early rivian res holder who decided to wait for the cybertruck. Now after 4 years, this is a double slap in the face. I finally got the email to order, and they have increased the cyberbeast price again to $119,990?! I feel really let down, did anyone else get an invite today with the updated pricing?

I have a model 3 long range, was waiting to swap it for a cybertruck. Was ready to pay launch pricing for the cyberbeast, but not this gouging by Tesla. I foresee some lawyers getting involved, at least rivian decided to backpedal and honor their launch pricing for preorder holders.

I see you joined today. Invites with this price have been going out since December 8th. It’s the price everyone has to pay if you want to order now. Some people are opting to pass because of the price, 500 others like myself pulled the trigger. This price is for the Foundation Series trucks. They come with extra bells and whistles and are $20K more than the base price. You can choose to pass and wait for the non FS version which are about 80K and 100K respectively.

Update: No one currently knows when reservation holders will be allowed to order non FS trucks or when they will be delivered.

What so you are not taking into account the $20K FS premium (which also defaults to some options)?

Subtract the $20K to get the 'normal' price.

It still sucks, even if you add those premium features on the awd version, you also miss the $7,500 rebate so it’s $27,500 more expensive than a “base” awd will be when they are available. Ouch. Tough decision.
