I know there are a lot of influencing factors but just driving around Atlanta doing normal life stuff and I'm pleasantly surprised with the Wh/mi. These are about like my old 2021 Model Y numbers!
This current drive was:
  • 95% FSD
  • 50psi Core tires w/no covers
  • 35-45mph backroads w/traffic lights
  • 3x adults
  • No cargo
  • AWD
  • Tonneau closed
  • 68° & dry
  • A/C set to 67

That's awesome! I live in a hilly area and my average intown range (driving in Chill mode, winter tire package, tonneau closed) is about 450 wh/mile. I can achieve your numbers if I go mostly downhill though haha.

My towing numbers hover between 900-1000 wh/mile towing ~4500 pounds

I rip it on highways and very surprised at the little loss of range. Winter time only adds like 10% loss.

I did a 300 mile drive yesterday down to Skyline drive in Shenandoah national park and back and those are basically the exact numbers I saw
AT tires on Cyber wheels. 2 people, 3 cargo boxes in the bed, AC on for a bit, but it was unseasonably cool yesterday (61° in the park!) and we had the windows down for 4-5 hours

Oh also - did the entire trip on a single charge. Didn’t stop at a supercharger

At very slow speeds (45mph) EVs including the CT are very efficient.
Once you go above 60 the range tanks quite a bit, but for driving around in town at slow speeds the wh/mile are great.

So this isn’t due to some software update or more recent build, just observation of different driving conditions?

It is directly after 2025.26.4 but I have no idea if that made the difference. Same old 13.2.9 FSD. I just noticed how good it was, better than it has been and thought I'd share my delight.

Definitely good numbers, but so much is dependent on driving speeds and conditions.

I haven't reset my Trip A since the OEM Foundation Series ATs went back on in the spring. My average works out to 376 Wh/mile. I live where every trip in town involves significant elevation change. City driving, which includes some 55-60 mph sections, has typically been sub-350 Wh/mile, so that 376 is my current average. That average includes the city driving, some road trips over mountain passes at 75 mph, plenty of random terrain highway at 60 mph and some gravel roads of varying quality. I think it's a pretty fair example of real world conditions and usage...and is actually slightly better than the "rated mile" consumption for the vehicle in this configuration.

Somewhere between 5 and 10% of the total distance has been with the tonneau open and carrying a load of some sort. I don't use the wheel covers and the tires are pressured to 50 psi cold.

It is due to warm weather and the OP driving at 40mph.

There will be similar posts in the winter "my cybertruck range is dropping!!!" when people are driving 75mph in 15degrees F

Total Trip A average still coming down and local trips still in the high 200's. Same routes and ambient temps were averaging over 300 before getting the sticking LR brake fixed and update to 2025.26.4. Not convinced on why but happy to see improvement.

It's normal for an EV to improve efficiency as wheel bearings, seals, and gear faces wear in and become smoother and more polished. Also, the human interface is an important part of the equation. When the vehicle is new to the owner, they drive more erratically as they learn the nuances of the regenerative braking and throttle control. So there is more accurate anticipation when approaching slow downs and stops.

Mines been improving a little too, but with far more range than I need, and electricity at only 10-11 cents per kWh for over 90% of my charging, it doesn't really matter much. On the other hand, my F-150 could eek out 20 mpg when it was new, after three years I was lucky to get 17-18 mpg. I tried to get the Ford dealership to fix the 10% drop in efficiency but they said it was running normally and that I shouldn't expect to get combined EPA efficiency numbers in the "real world".

The Cybertruck can haul a 2500 lb. load more efficiently than any other pickup I know of.
