Has any current Cybertruck owner charged to 100%, drive on a non stop trip at 65 mph under average conditions until the battery was at near zero, and recorded the range?

If not, will someone please do this? Thanks in advance ??.

Not those exact conditions but close.

First warm weather real world posted test, maybe?. Mix of city and highway, round trip so elevation was a wash, 77 degrees F average speed of 31MPH, only drivers cooled seat used. This puts the mixed range of this AWD FS CT at about 279 of real world range, granted at a low avg speed but keeping the speed low seems to have added 100ish miles of real world range helping support a lot of theories that the high speed (60MPH+ ) is what is delivering those sub 200 mile ranges
Tesla Cybertruck Real world range zimage7096-png

That was done at a lot slower than 65mph.
The ones with 65mph+ are showing closer to 215 miles of range with the average real world range in a variety of conditions and real world drivers being depending on pack % used about 208 miles of range (AWD with AS Tires)

Kyle with out of spec got 250 running it to dead and needing a tow.

Linked thread below has about 10 real world range reports added to the first post, some good, some bad.

This is not good enough. Under what conditions exactly does 340 mi occur? anybody gone 300 mi without a charge yet?
Those conditions would occur if you're not doing any quick acceleration and low proportion of time at or above 65.

That's just basic physics vs the EPA testing regimen, nothing to do with Cybertruck or Tesla.

Edit: oh, yeah, you'd need road tires, too! Thanks for reminding, guys,

Thank you, that helps. Just wish they had more diverse route. city + highway + wilderness
there is** a separate city and highway rating

**we haven’t seen those yet because EPA figures aren’t out

It occurs on a Cybertruck not even being sold yet... Every Foundation Series Cybertruck being purchased right now comes with all terrain tires and the rating for 340 miles is using an all season tire...

IJNYamato said: Not sure how I missed this thread but just want to add my own datapoint.
7,xxx miles
405 Wh/hr
Mostly highway
AWD + AT Tires

My calculation, based on data from IJNYamato:
405 wh/mile = 2.5 miles per kWh
Cybertruck battery size 123 kWh
range = 2.5 * 123 = 307 miles

As others have said here, similar range as Model Y, longer charge times on 400v chargers due to Cybertruck's battery size. Charging times will very likely decrese with Supercharger V4.

I think they got the EPA range when all the planets were in alignment during a solar eclipse!
With a 30mph tailwind, driving downhill at 45mph, with a 85lb driver, in 70 degree weather.

If you want the double-click story:

the EPA methodology gets a number from its tests on a dyno.

it then applies a factor, standardly 0.7, to arrive at the listed rating. The factor is intended to account for eg aggressive driving, HVAC use, etc. So if on the dyno in the lab the vehicle goes 100mi, the default factor of 0.7 means the EPA gives the vehicle a range rating of 70mi.

Manufacturers are able, within the rules, to have the EPA apply a different factor. All but two OEMs just use the default 0.7. Tesla, in particular, is an exception. They will ask to use a higher factor.

With the Cybertruck, the early EPA filings show that with the Cybertruck Tesla has proposed using the highest factor they’ve ever asked for: 0.82

If that goes through, instead of a 100mi dyno run being reported at 70mi, it will be reported as 82miles.

So no, there is not an EPA Q-anon that is conflating EPA numbers against foes of Biden.

If anything, there is Tesla making its standard aggressive positions regarding its EPA ratings.

Put differently, if anyone’s fuckin’ anyone, it’s Musk fuckin’ you.

Charging to 100% at a Supercharger is bad practice and frowned upon.

At 65mph, you can expect slightly less than the blended EPA number, I'd expect 290 miles +-.

If you are doing a long trip, charging to 100% will take the longest amount of time for your trip.

I think you can do it at home, and I didn't see any suggestion about it being charged at supercharger to 100% in this thread.

But for what configuration?

An AWD on AS with a blended or 340? Sure, maybe

An AWD on AT with a blended of 318? Ehhhh…

A Beast on AT with a blended of 301mi? Not a chance.
