Sometimes I wonder if there was a law regarding warranty/recall, that if dealers/oem/etc must provide the customer with the same loaner as the vehicle being serviced, if this would bring any sort of change to the culture in the industry…

I believe the MOSFET’s are failing. I think it’s the brick like part on the circuit board.

The big bricks in the middle are ferrites for the PCB inductors on that PCS board. The black ones on the right are probably capacitors.
Inverter and PCS MOSFETS are mounted on the bottom of the board for heat sinking.

I wonder if all the affected VINs haven't been loaded into the system for this recall yet? I took delivery of my Truck May 10th, so I would have expected it to fall within this time frame, however the Tesla VIN search doesn't list my truck as affected.

Likewise, took delivery on July 3rd, but I don't fully understand all the ins and outs as Blitzen is a Beast with two rear motors, might be different?

Tesla uses the same inverter on all the Cybertruck motors: front, rear, and dual rear.

My February 2024 build was, so you're probably in the clear!

I’m a FL 02/2024 also. I’m listed in the recall. First service appointment date in January.

Failure happened to mine at about 10k miles. Vin 21xx. Happened on June 28th, and they replaced. I hope they knew what the reason was back then and gave me a replacement without the bad MOSFET.

But how would I know if I got replaced with a non-defective one?

VIN around 7300 - I put in a service ticket and they say mine is not affected.

The Tesla site says my VIN (March '24) is not included, but IDK if the database is current.

They already owe me a new wiper motor, throttle, and sail applique. Maybe if I wait long enough they'll need to replace the whole truck

LOL, I just got my other recalls done last week. I wonder if this is going to mean another service visit for me VIN 38xx. Oh well, I got my missing D-rings this time, maybe next time they'll have the wheeel covers. ?
