$75K USD? If indeed this is true, which puts it well north of $100K in Loonies.... that makes it big no from me dawg.
I need a working truck at a decent price, not some showpiece for the neighbourhood.
Yeah, yeah, you can take my place in line blahblahblah, but lets get real, this would make it very niche product.

If it is a tri-motor, that was originally priced at $69,900, then $75K would actually be reasonable. But I understand where you are coming from if it is a single or dual motor.

With demand being off the charts and Tesla being a premium brand automaker $75k for the Dual Motor appears to be spot on.
If that is the case, then it would be disappointing in my eyes. That would be $25,000 more than announced price or 50% increase!! It just doesn't seem Tesla would push it up in cost that much.

I fully expected the Cybertruck to be priced between the Model Y and Model S.
If that were the goal, wouldn't that have been true at the initial announcement? It's not exactly between. I know it's in between both of them, but dang, there is a whole lot of gap between them! They can't get under the 3/Y yet, and there is no reason to go over the S/X in price, so just about anything is going to fit in the middle.

I think the pricing will be where Tesla can make a dollar, and sell a ton of them. Look at the affordability curve on what people can afford, and you'll get an idea of where pricing is likely to be. This is why the $25K car is so important. A $25K car is a price that over 85% of the population can afford. That's the audience they are shooting for. To price the CT where so few people could afford it, would miss the mark of where they are aiming. They could have given the CT absolutely everything we have all discussed, and far more. But the price would need to reflect that, and too small a percentage of people could afford it. So there were decisions made, and ideas got cut, to make it a truck for the masses.

Look at Tesla's stated goals and mission. Now, where does the pricing need to fall?
