Not sure how reliable this is but there is post saying that some who got CT event invite "being told by tesla" to " prepare for pricing in the "mid to high 70s," or starting from about US$75,000."

Anyone here who got invite was told about pricing?
I dont know why would anyone at tesla would say anything before event, though..

Tesla started sending out Cybertruck launch event invites at the price of 30,000 referral credits and now more info on how it may all go down has appeared. The lucky first Cybertruck owners will reportedly get their deliveries during the announcement event and they've been tipped the price.​

Those lucky people who will be the first to own a Cybertruck, have apparently been told to prepare for pricing in the "mid to high 70s," or starting from about US$75,000.​

This Cybertruck price is way above the US$40,000 that Elon Musk teased when announcing Tesla's first electric pickup almost four years ago, or even above the US$60,000 starting tag that analysts are now forecasting. The first Cybertruck deliveries, however, are going to industry influencers, and they will reportedly all get premium AWD trims, so at a later date when Tesla releases a RWD Cybertruck option it could be priced much lower still.​

Many Tesla centers around the country will receive 5 or 6 early production units to distribute after the launch event, too, of the type that has been spotted crossing the distance from Giga Texas to Fremont on trailers since this past week. Agreed. $75k for a 500 range tri motor makes perfect sense. But still, this is just a rumor and I don't believe it. I won't believe anything until Musk says it or the configurator says it.

I can’t confirm or deny that allegedly, what you claim was reportedly told to those who apparently know something, aren’t saying if they were supposedly told of any assumed pricing structure. But that’s just a rumor.

If, as forecast some months ago, it scrapes in just a cent under $80K it could very well qualify for the IRA $7500 ....not that anyone BUYING into the CT Thing would care too much if they don't get the tax rebate. Australia is lacking in rebates.

Whose to say that the first Cybertrucks off the line will be single motor? Obviously, if it is dual or tri then it was never advertised to be $40K.

I'm thinking the $75k is dual with rear wheel steering to start. With everything going up since the price came down on the website. Hoping it's closer 300 mile range. I'm good with that, have saved for it since making my reservation. The auto self driving party I'm not sure about because I've never owned a Tesla.

Mid $70k for the DM Cybertruck is right in line with the 270 mile Rivian R1T Dual Motor pickup at $73k.

You can throw 2019 reveal pricing out the window. Elon and his team couldn't stop themselves from stuffing the Cybertruck with the latest technology. RWS, pop open doors, 48 volt architecture, frunk, front and rear Giga castings, possible steer-by-wire, no steering wheel stalks, etc.
