Yes, thinking hard on Rhino Lining mine. That could work in many ways. Just have it professionally done for longevity, and I'm good. That's the main thing I'm interested in, is longevity of whatever is on the outside. peaceI hate to break it to you but, he never said black SS, im not sure where you picked that part up....
he said you could get it in black...no specification as to how it would be black, wrap or other.
I agree, but I might be interested if they offered heat treated SS!I dunno, take something really good and wrap it with something not so good? That's not for me. I'll take it just as it rolls off the factory floor
what is this from?that would be an incredibly clever wrap!
what is this from?
I just want the dark SS color Elon talked about, if it's through and through. I don't want a scratch to show through with bright SS across the dark. Blah
I expect it to be solid dark SS, and very much hope so. I could see like a cool slightly darker than the SS, pic of something significant, on the huge flat hood - maybe a soft spinning/burning earth.
There are far too many people that don't believe that we're having such a negative impact on earth today. They think there are no consequences for their actions, and that saddens me. Though I try to live life in a happy and positive way. peace
doesn't that stuff weigh a ton?Yes, thinking hard on Rhino Lining mine. That could work in many ways. Just have it professionally done for longevity, and I'm good. That's the main thing I'm interested in, is longevity of whatever is on the outside. peace
I doubt they will ever be building 10k a week at one factory. And I doubt most people will want a wrap. I, for one, don't. And I assume Tesla will charge a premium price for their wrap. If you do want a wrap, you will probably be able to get it for much much less if you shop around for a third party shop. Are you guys concerned that wrapping is labor intensive and difficult to automate?
The wrapping in China is done at service centers, not at the factory, for whatever that's worth.
I still have trouble imagining Tesla paying enough Texans to wrap 1000 or 10,000 trucks per week indefinitely ?‍
automation for the CT would be rather simple since its all straight lines , but i agree with you...it will likely be a service center item, and cost will be premiumAre you guys concerned that wrapping is labor intensive and difficult to automate?
