I saw an article how the CT resale price has TANKED!!!!! Then I saw it is selling for 90% of it's new price, $90k-ish.

I'm curious how many mass produced vehicles don't lose more than 10% of their value once they drive off the lot. People need to stop using once in a lifetime COVID-halted-manufacturing prices as the reference for resale expectations, it doesn't make sense anymore.

So, how do you think Plaid owners feel when the CEO, not market, reduced the price drastically? Mass produced vehicles whether it be an Altima, Accord, Avalon, or Aviator, will lose value due to depreciation. How many of any of these vehicles have lost depreciation on MSRP though? That's the difference. Every year MSRP on a vehicle increases. Rare instances do exist, but, MSRP stands for what? What I mean to say is this. When the Cybertrucks MSRP of $100,000 drastically drops to $80,000, what does that do for the used market? If you can buy a new one at $80,000, as someone else said in a different thread, are you willing to pay $30,000 for someone else's farts? You decide.
