Okay, so it has been ~24 hours since the last time I checked on it. I pulled up the app, and it said "51% asleep for a day." I clicked on the "asleep for a day" and it started polling and then said "49% parked." So... I can't say definitively at this time if I was doing something to keep it awake (like being near it with my phone) and use more power or the truck was doing something. I guess I will just continue watching it.

I must add, 2% over a 24 hour period still seems like a lot for something that shouldn't be doing anything - that's basically ~2kWh, an equivalent of running my desktop PC for 5-6 hours.

Some data points. The Cybertruck seems to not sleep as well however I do think it is because of things like my phone coming within range often as I mess around in the garage or even our laundry room is close enough that it wakes the truck if I have my phone on me. I’ve played with trying to remember to close the Tesla app but at some point I just gave up thinking about it while at home. We have not had any extended trips that have left the truck home or away (without Sentry Mode) so I don’t have any data for that right now. I’m sure Tesla will reduce the vampire drain over time. Something else interesting to note is that these rides sit right next to each other in the garage yet the Cybertruck reports cold conditions sooner as seen in the vampire drain data.

2020 Model X with key fobs far enough away to not wake the vehicle. Software version 2024.44.25.2 often see 3+ days asleep.

Vampire drain stats from TeslaMate for 2020 X. The 53% and 63% standby days it was at the service center so never really went to sleep.

Same possible issue here - vehicle is effectively parked across the wall from my home office, maybe 15ft of distance at most. If that's the issue, then I'm less concerned as it's quite manageable like by disabling Bluetooth, and of course it wouldn't be an issue at all if left at the airport or similar.

Your standby percentages are very low.

I know!! LOL I think my truck is away all the time because I screw around in the app and/or walk close enough to it to wake it up. I am also wondering if having the charge on solar feature enabled basically never lets it sleep when it is waiting for enough solar.

My CT has been draining a lot parked outside loses 10% overnight coming from 35F garage. What I noticed was it doesn’t sleep and the front camera IR runs all night. Sentry is NOT on. I do not recall this IR running prior to a couple weeks ago.

Does the app show it is sleeping?
Have you tried double scroll wheel reset and then vehicle off?

no sleeping when it was really cold. Yesterday was high 20’s and i did see it sleep sometimes. I did a reset about a week ago because truck began doing odd things, like drifting completely out of lane, into oncoming or off into shoulder on highway. No alarms. Did that Over and over, couldn’t even use fsd. Then it wouldn’t display a 3d map pulling into the garage. It’s lost 24% in 65 hours. It lost 8% in the first 15 hours. Idk what’s going. It slept like a baby in the garage plugged in @35-40F.

My CT definitely drains faster when sitting than My MX or any other Tesla I have owned. The snowflake is on all the time when its in the 30s or less, even after driving for 1hr+ at highway speeds or L2 charging for hours. Hopefully they can optimize this with future updates.

yep, our MYLR doesn’t have this problem. My ford lightning doesn’t have it either. A few updates ago they did address the CT sleeping issue (it was warmer outside then). Seems it could cold related perhaps, but why is my camera IR running most of the night, its never done that before. I’ve seen it cycle off briefly, it’s perplexing me. I see that blue snowflake too, it’s on a lot.

I also see an isotempsensor irrational alert. Not sure if/how it is related.

Just had the truck parked at airport lost about 4-5% per day . It was fast asleep . Didn’t do any contact with the truck and sentry off .
just a hassle as had to charge it .
