Very nicely laid out. Even slightly more baseline consumption in my case. My math was around 800w. 500w would be better.
I know what you’re saying to be true about efficiency at lower rates from my past experience. The big question in my mind is what I’d get out in terms of mph added from about 2kw which is about what I’ve been able to consistently achieve with the solar panels I carry. Four of these:
https://a.co/d/6sAxspS
The fact that the apex 300 has a box that can add another 4kw of solar is awesome and so is the fact that you can string two together for faster charging but I don’t know how I’d carry that much in terms of panels.
I believe that carrying more battery is a losing proposition for this purpose in terms of weight and also in terms of usability of the vault.
And as for @mongo, him being right is slotted just after death and taxes in my book.
So... I guess until Bluetti provides a firmware update allow me to set the SOC at which the system turns back on, I will need to add one of these goofy devices to restart it on a timer while I am away from camp.

That is goofy. But only Bluetooth though right?
You could leave a Starlink mini nearby with its own battery/panel on the $5 standby mode and then turn the bluetti on via WiFi on the bluetti app.

You only need bluetooth to configure it - it has a timer function. So no need to keep a wifi connection. Also, my phone doesn't get service where I hunt.

Getting complicated

Alright…so, I feel like I’m about to get flamed for this but why can’t we just install a powerwall 3 on its back under the cybertent?
Powerwall has internal cooling fluids, I believe. I’d hesitate to change the installation orientation for this reason. The cooling design is at least partially reliant on gravity in a contained system.

It’s too bad because it’s essentially the perfect range extender with solar inputs.

Happy turkey day btw J.
Very thankful for you.
Couldn’t ask for a better friend.

So do two apex 300’s (or is it apices?😁) or two delta pro 3’s or a delta pro ultra or DPU-x.
In total, nearly, but in separate units. I can manipulate 85 pound boxes (Apex300s and BK500Ks) and 65 pound boxes (B300Ks) much easier by myself than a 200 pound box.

Or set scheduled charging.
Then you can have Truck wait X hours before doing full power charging.

It would be nice if Tesla gave us better scheduling options (like multiple charging windows). Then something like this would, indeed, work. Bluetti seems to be actively updating the firmware - I have had two updates already since buying the unit. I opened a service ticket with the SOC control request (they already have similar setpoints on their other operation modes) so maybe it will get added.

You can have multiple charging windows ...
Settlable SOC on the battery would be great, even better if time limited so it doesn't stay off because it's one percent under the threshold.

Sweet! Is that new? I was looking for something like this earlier this year (my TOU has two windows) and became convinced it was not possible.
