Looks like under 60W (and that's operating off of ~30V)
That’s great news. So if they are wired in parallel, will the curved lightbar come on you think if you turn on either the ditch or the flood lights? Seems like it should

The power feed turns on if you activate ditch, flood, or both. Or if you turn the feed on directly. It stays on if you set brightness to 0% also.

Why all the extra work when the Starlink operates fine on the dash or under the roof glass where it’s protected from the elements, damage and theft?

I had the same thought and originally had it that way, but that puts quite a bit of tilt on the dish. Starlink ideally likes to point north, so when you drive north and the dish has a hard tilt south, you get poor connection. When driving around and going every which way, you want the dish as flat and level as possible, just to give you the best signal no matter which way you’re going. This setup is pretty close to level and I never get any interruptions. The tabs are secured with little hex bolts and I tried and failed to release the dish when it was secured. It’s a solid setup.
Got it. also you or someone mentioned the 110V outlet in the bed doesn't work while charging?? I never tried it at a super charger only at house with level 2 charger it does not work

Right. Outlets are disabled when the truck is plugged in so your Starlink will shut down. Roof and frunk feeds will remain on.

My reasons were keeping the outlets free for other things and keeping the Starlink running while the truck charges.

Outlets work while Supercharging , but not while AC changing.

I’ve got a simple battery bank with a USB C Adapter I use if I’m totally off grid in the back country. If I’m at a Dupercharger there’s typically Cell or WiFi coverage there anyway.

$7 barrel jack to usb-c pd60 adapter, a set of suction cups from Amazon for about $15, and a 4 hour petg 3d print.

Mounted to the inside of the top glass for almost a year now.
Do you have a picture and link to the 3d print? How much does the glass affect signal quality?

I have had zero indication that the glass affects the signal to a degree which is noticeable. My experience with this mount has been absolutely positive.
This is the exact print I used, and the description also provides a link to the suction cups:

I have the sunshade in as well, so you really can't see the dish. If I know someone will be using the center rear seat, I'll just slide it forward to be just above the center console, about an inch or two behind the bar that separates the top glass from the front windshield - my tall frame (6'5") will tap the dish in the middle seat, but my friend's 16 year old can sit there without issue and she's relatively tall I suppose (you're all short tbh ;) )

Yes. The glass is a non-issue unless you use tint that has metal in it so pay attention. When choosing a tint material. The only thing I would add to that is that while the usb-c in the truck works for powering the mini, it doesn’t do so reliably if you’re using other usb-c’s for other things.
this is something nobody told me.

Plus, if you use the 120v instead of the USB-C, you get the added benefit of being able to turn it on and off with the on-screen Outlets control. I leave mine off unless I need to use it.

Are you running the cable behind the rear seats and under the floormat?
That’s a good place to run it.
I have mine here because of my electrochromic glass light thing and not wanting to put any theoretical radiation above my kids heads.
It’s on heavy duty magnetic feet and wrapped in matte black to eliminate reflections.

That cord isn’t typically up there. Just the only photo I could find quickly
