Sub-Bed storage fumes?!

Picked up my AWD this weekend. When I open the sub-bed storage I get blasted with fumes of some type of adhesive.
Is this normal?

This is normal for the CT. I left the compartment door open while stored in the garage (tonneau cover open too) for a while when not driving it and I don’t notice the smell anymore. It takes a while though….

That’s the smell of victory, haha!!

I seriously love the smell the CT gives off. When I walk into the garage, it smells like a CT is in there. How cool is that, haha!!

Same here. Left the smugglers bay open when not driving for the first month or so. Also washed it out after using it as a cooler. No smell after that.

Mine smelled really strong when it was new, three months later it's almost gone.

Hahaha…so glad I’m not the only weirdo that walks into his garage and LOVES the fact that it smells like an outgassing Cybertruck!

The steel beams for the Empire State Building were custom forged in Pittsburgh and shipped immediately to the building site…some arrived still hot to the touch from the furnaces.

Now, in the 21st we have the smell of uncured adhesive to assure us out Cybertruck is hot off the Giga press.

I’m hoping that smell wafts thru the air this next weekend when I’m told my FS AWD CT might be ready for delivery.

Three weeks and the smell is still there.

I have been leaving my garage door open just to try and air that smell out, whatever glues that Tesla use this time were damn strong

I was going to air it out, but it won't stop raining and Cybertruck stays outside. Maybe I'll have to clear out the garage and try and squeeze it in next to the X.
