any difference to the squirkle shape or is it just the material on it that is different?

Still a Squirkle.

I thought there was going to be a round option because previously the second steering wheel didn't have a name. But they added the name in the update to Squirkle (PUR+Suede)

It’s called a “squirkle”

although there’s no “k” in “square” or “circle” ?‍♂
BARD says "

Clarity and Recognition:

  • Squirkle: This spelling has become the widely accepted term in design and geometry thanks to its widespread use in academic papers, design forums, and software tools. Many resources on the shape exclusively use "squirkle."
  • Squircle: This spelling is less common and might encounter confusion as it's not readily linked to its constituent words. It could be mistaken for a different word or simply appear unfamiliar.

"
Maybe students/professors would gloss over 'squircle' too fast thinking it was an unintended error and/or autospell of circle ?

read a review on sueded or alcantra steering wheels, it's definitely a choice but the reviewer disliked the suede on any touch surfaces as it can attract and hold skin oils, etc and actually become matted and dirty. i would think it would be kind of sticky when new, too. imma pass, but just my two cents on what i read.

I would imagine that thing will get so dirty and nasty because how do you clean it thoroughly? So much finger grease, especially if you're eating french fries while driving

Might as well pick up one of these from Autozone:
