The latest update to the CT provides a new 3D Wiring and connector tool in Service Mode+ and here’s a short video I created showing some of this:

This is a great addition to the cool features Tesla has already delivered to SM and I hear that there’s a lot more to come!

The connector and wiring diagrams found in service information provide additional information such as part #’s, connector pin and shell housing manufacturers so that you can source service items from vendors outside of Tesla.

Not a single other OEM has anything close to this. Amazing.

It’s amazing to see what technology is built that the public never sees/gets to interact with. So much extra work that costs real money to produce that we don’t know about to keep things running smooth.

Maybe we can use the wiring diagram to install a wiper cutoff switch for FSD hahahaha
I would be interested in a cutoff switch for the "low speed noisemaker" when trying to quietly drive through a campground at 11pm!

Any chance that you can tell me what the wires that are just to the right of the trailer hitch when you’re standing behind the truck go to? There’s a bundle like six or eight wires that terminate into a dead end clip that is clipped to the port for the diaper, I mean air shield lol. I was just wondering what those would run

Ahahahahahh, yep I love every view of the truck except the rear. That diffuser…. Looks like it has a pants load ?. I’ve seriously considered taking it off and seeing what happens to highway efficiency. If it’s not a big hit I’ll make a new rear pan and ditch the diaper.

This appears to be a CAN diagnostic breakout. I’ll need to do a little more research but it looks like it’s primarily the HVC.
