I dont think anyone is really thinking the foundation series will "hold value". If anything some iwll avoid them given all the recall stuff. Once addressed, sure it is fine. Look, I like mine, but if I were to get another one in the future, I would want one with all the kinks ironed out.
100% agree. If anything I assume my Foundation Series will be worth less and I knew that going in.

early reservation holder & shareholder-today's T$LA spike gave me so much opportunity to purchase Cybertruck so easy but I am gonna wait for smaller trim. Hopefully, when Tesla started looking to trim for international Cybertruck. Meanwhile, Tesla can/should sell Foundation Series as much/far as they can.

I agree. I think they have extended the program longer than even they anticipated so that they can do a lot more bug fixing. This is a brand new platform with lots of innovation risks taken.

I like that Tesla is really pushing the limits of tech in a vehicle, so if I have to wait a bit longer for bleeding edge pioneering, then so it ?

And delivery is a circus. Damaged, dirty , nasty. Not charged, etc.
Accessories not available, out of stock. I wish Elon would concentrate on this product. Also service personnel numbers are not keeping up with all delivered numbers. Waits ti.es are exceeding a month easy.

I didn't buy a CT FS because I thought it would retain its value better than a non-FS truck. I'm more concerned on a vehicle's reliability and longevity potential than its depreciation rate. I paid $20K more for a CT in order to get one as early as possible. Worth it? Yes! Life is short. No time to waste.

Nothing being mass produced at up to 1,300 per week and at over 20K produced should be labeled limited.

Tesla is within its right to continue selling the foundation series at the 20K upcharge, but they cannot claim that the foundation series will hold any value due to its limited run or badging.

Its clear tesla has no cap on production numbers as we are over 20K

The only thing that will get them to stop is a lack of demand.

Personally i believe being one of the first few thousand CT's delivered would have justified the 100K price. But not anymore.

I am ready and willing to give tesla 80K for a regular Cybertruck.
