Way to expensive especially for how easy it will be to wrap the CyberTruck since it is all straight edges. I would just purchase some high quality wrap and do it myself.

Price is absolutely insane. About 2x what a quality PPF wrap would cost at a local shop.
I’m guessing a it’s a test run for the CT, but demand for the wrap on the 3/y will be next to nothing

I hadn’t really seen a wrap I preferred over stainless but after seeing the Baja Test Trucks I’d pay good money for the yellow/orange Cybertruck decal on the sides

take this from someone who’s commissioned fleet pricing on wraps for hundreds of vehicles over time. This is custom colored ppf not a wrap and its on par with what good shops charge. Based on tesla service generally it’d be wise to go elsewhere for this IMO.

Yes.

In a scenario where something like this takes off, competition will increase, and many new people happy to do it for less.

Not only in shops., but word of mouth, Outsourcing service webs, etc... private jobs who work from home or come to you.

Imagine, Art students... work for bread and water.

I'm thinking a homemade wrap with aluminum foil! you have your choice of the shiny side and the dull side!

If I'm going to pay $7K to $10K to wrap my CyberTruck, I'm going to choose something that no one else has. Not one of the 4 choices offered by Tesla that other drivers will have. But that's just me...
