Good luck with that. Some software updates are automatic, mandatory, and will come whether connected to wifi or not.
Thank you. Yes, I know. But I’m going to ride FSD13 for as long as I can. I know many people love FSD14- it just doesn’t work for me. I’m hoping, probably in vain, that the scroll wheel speed set will return at least as an optional speed profile on some future update. For now, I’m simply enjoying my CT again.

Well, the lord giveth and the lord taketh away. My truck just threw this error while charging and then promptly bricked in my driveway. I suspect it’s a PCS failure. I saw some weird shadow codes in Tessie related to the PCS during the last charging session as well. They are coming with the flat bed. 500 miles on the truck 😄

Not off to a great start with only 500 miles on the clock. Hopefully Tesla gets you into a CT courtesy vehicle.
It’s the first hardware failure I have ever had on any EV I have owned (I believe I’m up to 7 now). No need for a loaner, I have several others to choose from.

What year? I thought Tesla “fixed” the PCS problem with the revisions they did? Please let us know the diagnosis.

I have a 5000 vin FS truck. I recently had a brand new one as a loaner. I didnt notice anything at all better about the new one. I was considering trading in at one point for a newer one. But after having the new loaner, I saw no reason. It wasn't quieter. It wasn't built better. panel gaps werent better. There was literally no reason I could find to trade in other than just to have a new truck.

Please clarify
Does the new truck leak
Or is the leaking done?

“ohh and the new truck has the water leaking problem in the bed done“

My foundation leaked like a sieve, was scheduled for the extra slat add on, the new truck has that and the gasket at the top of the tonneau is not exposed. ran it thru aggressive car wash a couple of times and NO water in the new truck. hoorah

Again, I’m the OP of this thread. It’s a 93xxx VIN just like yours.
Still wondering if there is a hold at the factory. Mine was built 3 weeks ago. I was at the Tesla SC today picking up our Model Y from service and actually mentioned this possibility to the sales supervisor after he told me the birth date and that it was “waiting for transport”. They were clueless. I had to explain what a PCS was.

Temping to update my 2024 FS as they offered almost 76k trade in yesterday. Have 25k miles on it. I prob would but it's PPF wrapped and like that so would have to redo on the new one.

In texas, selling to them means you lose out on 4-5k is trade-in tax savings (6.2%) so they would have to offer more than 4-5k to make it a better deal than a tesla trade in.

Used to be able to do an in-and-out transaction by selling your vehicle to one dealer and buying from another with tax savings but the big companies don't do that.
Same in Washington State
I only pay ~9% sales tax on the net of the trade in.
Vehicle Price: $89,736
Trade In: $70,900
Taxable: $19,836
Sales Tax $1,833
(Saved ~$4,550 in tax)
Also Transferred FSD (no tax)
Could still be done if sold to 3rd party.
However not until new truck was purchased and the transfer was completed.
