Irvine finally has my truck as of today, 2/27 config, 4/18 VIN. I scheduled my delivery for 5/14 which is longer than they’ll typically hold one. They threatened to release my VIN, but I told them a long time ago that I would be out of the country until 5/14 on a trip that I had planned long before the Cybertruck even entered production and they were willing to accommodate, but they made it very clear that this was an exception to the rules and that they were doing me a favor.

I fly home from vacation a week Monday and the next day I pick up my new truck, how cool is that?!

Got the option to schedule delivery this morning. Available as early as 6 May, but holding off until the 9th due to work. trying to get ahold of a human at the KC delivery center, but all avail options haven't worked out. messaging, email, and a few other things. somewhat frustrating as when I picked up my model 3 in the same location two years ago, they responded to all emails quickly.

Yeah if you ever come around the Orange you’ll see my truck there every weekday, that’s where my office is.

What day did you get your VIN? On 2/27 when I got invited to configure I already guessed that based on cgladue’s tracker it was going to be a problem with my vacation.

They didn’t call me, they texted me, but that’s actually annoying because my SMS reception is very spotty here. I can get data on airplane mode with WiFi though. No clue why they don’t just use in-app messaging to communicate these things. They already do it for service requests

Delivery Wednesday it looks like! It’s arriving in Charlotte tomorrow night! Damn that was super quick VIN To delivery! It was in Austin yesterday!

SC called last night…when they went to clean my truck it had all of the “wiring harness” errors on the screen. Delivery rescheduled for next Sunday or sooner if fixed. Fuck this sucks, but better than me getting down the road and it lighting up with errors. Will update…

That is a quicker delivery than I thought from VIN to Delivery.
