Elon had said he was going to do a cross-country tour last year but nothing came of it.

A cross-country tour would help some, right?

I know Elon won't have time for this but a Tesla team could handle it.

Everyone loves to see the Cybertruck, it got plenty of press when Elon drove it at the Giga Austin construction site and at Times Square.

C'mon Elon. YOU CAN DO IT!

I would really like a chance to see it in person, so this is a great idea!

Having the CT up close and personal with all the leading trucks on the market would be extremely helpful in gauging it’s actual size, so far it‘s never parked up next to any vehicle.

I'd rather see a cross country tour than what Rivian did. Plan out stops so those that want to can get an up close and personal view and touch the darn thing. Would be awesome, free advertisement and get another 10 thousand or so $100 pledges. :)

You have a good point. People can't get enough of just being able to see the Cybertruck in person. Much better than mere pictures or videos.

I get that. But very few people will actually get to see the prototype in a cross country tour, and they won't learn much about how it performs. I'd rather see it taken on rigorous backcountry trips into the wilderness, driven by professional testers who can report back what they did and didn't like so final tweaks can be considered. In the end, maybe it's all marketing, but I would still like to see that Tesla is letting some real people test the thing and offer feedback before it's truly finalized.

Yes! Exactly! They can do both, right? Take a film crew/photographers along while towing, four-wheeling through various conditions.

How about a cross-country tour followed by a World Tour?

Cross-country to start at Fremont and head to the East Coast. Route?

World Tour could start with a European Tour at Giga Berlin, Grünheide Germany

Yeah man, how about a Cybertruck Convoy, like three dozen strong, all heading across the highway in single file. It'd be bigger than the Beatles. World tour, woo-hoo!

Nah, just one is enough to be bigger than the Beatles.

They are supposed to be going into Beta which presumably means there will be wider testing. Hopefully things like off-roading will be part of that.
