Window definitely down

Fit and finish on that proto looks pretty rough, though. This whole situation for starters

I think the way they have it lit doesn’t do it any favors. That is the trunk line though.

Most cars avoid having seams like this along edges, I suspect for this reason. Going to be a very industrial look.

Incidentally, the seam that extended down to the bottom of the grill area is gone on this one.

Wondering what causes the most drop-offs in purchases. People who ordered this not knowing how much of a pain it is dealing with a huge truck, or perfectionists who are going to freak out trying to make these raw panels look like they are something less industrial.

Just looking at this makes me think a lot of people are going to skin these after 6 months.

I remember a video from launch day, taken by one of the audience members with commentary: “don’t worry, with paint and everything this is going to look much better”

I tend to agree that the CT will be a “twelvefooter” - from 12+ feet away will look pretty good to anybody; any closer and the “industrial” qualities are gonna start standing out and turning stomachs of the OCD

I'd bet it's there, the quality of the photo isn't great and the panel gaps are all over the place that one is probably very tight. You can see at the top there is a faint seam line, that doesn't mean we'll certainly get a Lightning style frunk though.

In another shot the gap was bigger which sort of made it look like that Lightning trunk would happen. Didn’t mean to imply it was gone entirely.

I think we are seeing why automakers don’t put seams on corners. Seems (har har) to be difficult to get them aligned correctly.

If they showed the sail pillar storage open, we’d spend about 3 days laughing at the haters then 20 pages talking about why they should open some other day.
WHEN we get a pic of the sail pilars open, I expect no less than 3 pages discussing the feasibility of an espresso machine installed in there. (Plus at least a page on having refrigeration for the milk needed for the cappuccino feature.)

I am 100% putting a warthog skin on the CT.

Something like this
