Many reservation holders will be happy that the Cybertruck pickup apparently won't be a poser:

I would love to rely on cameras strictly, but here in CA sometimes you gotta signal after you start the lane change and there's too much delay on my Y. I wish it intuitively knew I wanted to change lanes and would flash the camera before I signaled.
Are you ready for Neuralink?

I have 2 tri-motor FSDs on order. That was so, so long ago. I am pleased I may finally see a Cybertruck after all these years. Still, I have learned much mistrust from Tesla, so I will believe it when I see it. What I don't know yet is what the pricing will be. Tesla has basically said they are not honoring the original sale prices. I have no idea what my delivery dates might be. I don't know if they try to force the "yoke" down my throat. If the yoke is the only option, I am out. I also would love to see the interior. I expect it to be pretty barren, but I need to see it and touch it to see if I could be comfortable with this level of basic. My use cases are mostly around town shopping, lumber pick ups, etc. My other use is as a tow vehicle to pull my car trailer on 8 to 10 hour hauls. I am pretty sure I can be happy on in town utility, but as crude as the interior is, I question long hauls. I am alos looking at other possibilities such as a gas Ford truck or Expedition. I need a tow capacity of 8k or better. Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing one of these in person. I don't care how ugly it is, but I do care about interior comfort. My favorite feature is the vault, and that may keep me interested.

Reference please.

If the yoke is the only option, there will most likely be aftermarket options.

Patience grasshopper.

Unless your order is from the first month or two after launch, if you need a truck any time soon you might just as well go get it now. Otherwise it will be a while before your CT comes.

I post Cybertruck stuff on the Internet and people like it.

I really thought/hoped that Cybertruck would move from Tooling to Pre-Production, but it is just a label after all.

I note that RC<superscript 4> is not the same as RC4. I do not have the deck open so I do not know what the #4 footnote says. The footnote just expands RC --> Release Candidate.
It IS pre production. Just like we are all pre med! ?

Question:
When will we get more information about the Cybertruck orders, estimated delivery schedules, pricing, and specifications?

Answer:
Demand is so far off the hook, you cannot even see the hook. So that's really not an issue. I do want to emphasize that the Cybertruck has a lot of new technology in it. Like a LOT. It doesn't look like any other vehicle because it is not like any other vehicle. And the production ramp will move as fast as the slowest and least likely element of the entire supply chain and internal production. So I wouldn't expect it... I hope it's smooth. We are certainly better at production ramps. We've got a lot of experience with production ramps. The first order approximation is that there are 10,000 unique parts and processes in the Cybertruck. And it will go as fast as the least lucky, least well executed element of the 10,000. Always very difficult to predict the ramp initially. But I think we will be making them in high volume next year. And we will be delivering the car this year.

To point out, Musk twice said “delivering this year.”

Which is a glaring departure from prior statements that there would be a delivery event end of Q3, and separately comments that (retail) production would be beginning this year.

I take todays comments to be a hedge. If all they manage this year is a delivery event, it’s true; if they manage delivery event and production this year, it’s still true.

The key signal being no reiteration of a end of Q3 delivery event.

I'm in CO too. You might get it before winter if you hit the lottery luck. I am 15kish on tri motor line and like 49kish in overall. Also in CO. I was initially hoping to get it in 2024 to get POS credit but now I'm worried it'll qualify for less

The anticipation for the 2024 Cybertruck is off the charts. Any Cybertruck news headline gets tons of mouse clicks. Unfortunately that includes a lot of clickbait.
