'cept they're not on the side - red illuminated squares at 1:08 are flush with the back. I couldn't find any side illumination - not even turn signals on the mirrors.

Is this just a trick of the light then? They definitely need some side indicators toward the front.

I agree. I see the side markers on the front, but I couldn't see any for the rear

Are you talking about the yellow lights seen at the end of the video? I think that's just street light reflection (you can see the same yellow light reflected off the sides as it drives past them).

'Rear Wheel Steering' is Super KOOL, l agree. Most here on the 'forum' are like 'more vault', 'more Frunk', 'more BAW' etc. and have kinda moved to a new focus, like rear lights(!) Next week it's bound to be a focus 'shift'......watch this 'Space'

Nice. I didn't notice that. I wish it were more aggressive, though - it looked like he was still not going to be able to make the U-turn without hitting the curb. I guess any more rear steering and the bed width would have been compromised.

Removability does not preclude an electrical connection. In fact, we've seen them folded back, presumably by a motor, so there's no reason they could not also have lighting/defrosting (other than the fact that there's no evidence yet)

Did they make it in one pass?! This is actually the biggest question of the thread!

(Edit) or did they intrusively have to hold up traffic for a 3 point turn? (I know there is no traffic).
