On X @greggertruck has said 65 Texas built trucks.
Yep! Saw the full VIN for unit 655 on Friday afternoon. I said 62 yesterday afternoon morning. Weekends seem to slow down.

They’re at 67 as of yesterday evening. But
@IJNYamato seems to like to stir the pot….. ? go ahead.

Someone used the word "production" to describe these
You have to hope these aren't "production" models with this fitting.

You don't have to hope these aren't "production". They obviously aren't. I suspect they are test articles and will never be titled for operation as a normal vehicle. Still, it's interesting to see the video, even if I did have to suffer watching another stupid tik-tok vertical format.

All new cars have plastic film on parts of them. This is to keep them from being scratched by garbage flying off the road. The front seems to be the most important part to cover, so Tesla did. The weird thing is how messy the sealing is, especially on very flat surfaces.
So we get free protective film with our truck? Sweet. Normally it’s a pain to get a new car then get protection film before any scratches.

I've had stainless kitchen appliances for 15 years. I think people will get pretty tired of finger prints. These things will get PPF'd more than painted tesla's for that reason alone.
I've had a DeLorean for over 20 years, no one has ever said "nice car, too bad about the fingerprints"

I think they are still making test vehicles destined for destruction. I doubt any of these will be sold to employees - they aren't at that point yet. soon I think.
That or showroom vehicles for display or test drives

Let's say you get your CT and it has those major panel alignment issues. If it's the shape of the panel that is off, not the position, can they fix that at the service center or does it need to go back to the factory?

All these vertical videos would be excellent if the Cybertrucks were all standing upright on their tailgates. ? Sorry, I know you didn't film it, but just saying.
