I resonate with your frustration about the center console. I really was hoping for a 6 seater. I cant believe the model y would offer a 7 seat version and their biggest and best camping vehicle would only offer 5 seats. I am really hoping it is an add option at least. I will fork out $3k for that center front seat.

Yup, same here. Immediate family of 2 parents and 3 small children plus frequently one grandparent. Seating for 6 was minimum requirement. Now can't even get Model Y LR 7-seater in Mexico either. Right now have several would be first time Tesla buyers who can't buy because Model Y LR 7-seater disappeared from Tesla Mexico design studio (was there before).

Bro, have you not seen this? This is from the Beta all the way back at the Investor Day 5 months ago. Gives a decent look at the back. I imagine production is close to this, maybe minus the screen on the damned new added center front console (I want/need a 6 seater!).

I hadn't seen this video before. Thank you for posting it. That back seat folded up is super cool. That light bar on the floor is super cool. That center screen in the back is super cool. The bed looking looks like it will be way more comfortable that my in law's Silverado which hurts the knees to get in. I can't wait to see one in the delivery center and touch it in real life.

Well, this seems to confirm the hoods are being sealed/taped shut for delivery

I think theres a chance the hood release is electromagnetic and they are guarding against a loss of power resulting in the hood flying up on the freeway

in 2022 Ford sold 15,617 F-150 Lightnings. So my guess is around 40-50 a day?

That's a great question! And do you refuse delivery at that point if it does look like this? And then have to wait another 8 years for your CT?? lol. I am heartened by the argument that some have brought to this thread that suggests these indeed aren't for sale to the public, that they're still dialing in the press alignment and these will go for crash testing, etc. Especially what the one guy said about his late model Y being much tighter than the 2020.

I'm that one guy.
