?! So shiny ✨️✨✨...Hmm, I'll probably ended up covering my Cybertruck in XPEL Stealth PPF to avoid lawsuits from driver bitching that my CT temporarily blinded them; causing an accident ?

My thoughts on the blinding issue:

I see that some RCs have a different degree of shine on the body panels. I'm not sure if different finishes are part of what some RCs are testing.

I'm guessing that the production CT will come with some type of a satin sheen finish the stainless to avoid this blinding problem in traffic.

I noticed most of the angles of the CT panels when you encounter one on the road help deflect reflections away/down. As with many vehicles, there will be some momentary angle in bright sun that will reflect. These vehicles in the video are elevated on a car carrier which changes the angles and perhaps make this issue worse.

In any case, owners would want to avoid polishing their panels to a near mirror like shine to avoid blinding others.

That's one reason the DeLorean had a brushed finish. Another reason is a brushed finish makes any minor scratches or imperfections less visible.

I'm not advocating this finish for the CT of course.

Due this, unwrapped Cybertrucks will probably be illegal in Europe, if allowed at all:(

All vehicles have reflective surfaces, mostly glass. It's also common to see commercial tankers made of bare stainless.

The DeLorean managed to turn heads without blinding anyone.
