sigh... No, you are probably right. I was hoping they had figured out how to make the blade light work as headlights but it seems those lower two are, indeed, the headlights.
This was obvious since the beginning (and I’ve said so on many occasion). Diffused light is.. well, diffused light. By its very definition, it projects in a diffused manner and therefore cannot be used a main beam. Hence, the light bar was *never* going to be the main beam *unless* they had a clearing for some projector lights within the bar itself. Alas, that would have ruined the aesthetic.

The light bar is plenty bright on the prototype.

@TheLastStarfighter & @cvalue13 may be you could settle the argument by checking out the NHTSA guidelines to see if putting headlights on a moving part of the body is allowed. In the back of a hatchback, you can’t put the break lights on the hatch unless you have backup under it. If the same applies to the front, then lower lights could be headlights (unless they are back up). Just an idea. Just too lazy to check myself.

It is allowed, someone on another thread said it wasn't and that would be why the lights changed. Another falsehood, and for reference I showed a Viper:

People say things like that, it gets repeated, then assumed as truth. Kinda like plastic straws kill turtles. The concept started from a 10 year old's unresearched school paper, which was posted online, sourced by university students, who were quoted on TV and it became accepted as established fact.

You can have frosted lenses on spotlights and directional LED lights.

The little black dots are clearly the headlights.

you’ve not seen the prototype

you’ve seen photos, which you don’t understand

the DRL is not the headlight unit

but now I’m willing to put $5K on it

would still be a bit like steeling but

The light bar is not on a moving part of the body. Now, before anyone reaches for the keyboard to tell me how the frunk opens, you are missing the definition. A “Moving part of the body” does not refer to the body when parked and opening the frunk. When in motion on a public road, the hood is NOT a moving part of the body, as with the Viper, and the Macan, and… Which is why those cars don’t violate

NHTSA limits headlights to 22”-54” above the road.

The lightbar is the headlights, the fog lights are the lower lights. You do not...
Legally, the lower two are the 'headlights' because manufacturers have to place them apart, apparently.

What about these
These don't move while the lights are on.

And the frunk can't be open while you drive.
