?‍ what did you expect as an early adopter of a brand new platform?

Yeah, being a Tesla customer is just totally different than owning any other make. My Model S, purchased over six years ago, has tons of new features due to software and two hardware updates (new FSD computer and entertainment upgrade).
In some ways, getting the product sooner and getting new features each year is better than getting them all at once. I never keep cars for more than 4-5 years because I want new features and tech. I don’t yet see a need to replace my S since it continues to get improvements and new features.

The range is not a deal-breaker for me, especially with the range extender coming later this year. Everybody has their own needs and priorities so I get it if it doesn't work for you but I'm eager to jump on a FS invitation if Tesla will just please please send me one.

Must be frustrating to see people that can’t decide if they want it and you haven’t had the chance. There’s so many people that would buy the truck now but can’t.

Look, it's a free country, and it's largely a free world. If you want to be a meek apologist full of excuses for the Tesla brand, bless your little heart. You do you.

But some of us expect companies to deliver what they represented, or we'll buy something else.

This past week, Tesla lowered the range estimates for a number of their vehicles because they were about to be sued.

No they didn't lie. They gave you an EPA estimate. One I fully expect them like all automakers to make and adhere to. Please point me to one Youtube that has properly conducted an EPA test for us to view.

Tesla lowered the range to match the range estimate's for its current offering. Why. The EPA test adjusted. Tesla adjusted.

You just bumming you spent a $1000 and wish you didn't. Got a bit excited.

Everyone knows Tesla lies about range. They advertise 330 and you get 260

However on my Taycan Turbo, it was advertised at 240-something and I get 250-275 no problem.

It's too bad Tesla isn't honest with their ranges like Porsche is, guess they think it will hurt sales

Regardless my normal daily driving is less than 60 miles in a day, and if I need to drive over 230-250 miles in a day, I can supercharge. No big deal.

I was planning to use the CyberTruck to travel to Florida frequently. Having to stop every 2 hours kind of changes the dynamic of the trip.

Keep in mind that (1) they were driving with off-road tires rated for 320 miles range, not all-weather street tires rated for 340 miles, and (2) they were driving at 70 mph, costing them 17% of their range due to wind resistance. With street tires, and at 55 mph, scaling the 254 miles of range from the road test, they'd get about 320 miles range. So that's stopping less often (depending on how you decided to space your charging, more faster charge stops or fewer slower charge stops).

You are not alone. I am canceling my Foundation Series reservation and demanding a refund.

This was not the truck that was advertised, or that we were promised.

Not even close.

The pitiful range and slow charge times and totally unacceptable for any vehicle of this price point.

The dual motor actually exceeded their range from 2019. Take issue with price. But you can’t with range unless you ordered Tri-motor.. then you can stay mad if that makes your life better

Also, they over-delivered on the Dual motor (other than price, which anyone with a functional brain and who paid attention to how difficult making the truck truly is would understand)
