Why you so mad? You should probably read this and understand that you are the outlier. Not much of a truck guy / off-roader eh ? Maybe model y is best for you ? Nice dry paved roads . No scary rocks or branches to puncture the frail factory sidewalls of them budget tires they come with .
what do you think the duel lockers are for (duel motor) ? Help get clicks on your YouTube “first impression video.”
by this logic, no truck (even gas ones) should have any sort of aggressive tire as they would all be affected by “efficiency” and supposedly form or function. And yet many people choose to install larger, more aggressive tires, so they can actually have fun or use the truck beyond the Starbucks drive-through. Probably beyond the scope of your imagination or experiences but it’s OK. It’s not your fault. How would you know?
Pretty cool but Method wheels are played out.
Fuel wheels are much cooler, here's a couple options I'm considering, 18" of course and they even could have less aero drag because the spokes are so closed up. I'll be going with BFG KO2s which are lightweight tires, so this combo should be lighter than stock as well.
Keep in mind I'm going satin black PPF on my Beast
Actually this will likely make it worse in snow specifically. With snow, a narrower tire so the weight is less distributed and pushes down through the snow will give better traction than a wider tire. So if snow is your aim, wider tires are worse, not better.I’m a lifelong truck guy who, after seeing the Cybertruck in 2019 and preordering, decided to check out this Tesla company. I have since purchased a Model 3 and a Model Y.
I’m STILL A TRUCK GUY and this not only looks awesome but will dramatically improve the Cybertruck in mud/snow/rough terrain.
BTW, I had a set of BFG KM2 Mudders on a truck that lasted 80,000 miles!
probably will be my tire of choice when I get my CT.
Good for you!
that was my first thought, but that makes it super sketchAre 18” fitting because the offset helps clear the calipers?
