Hmm, another thing to check is in both your Tesla APP and others and also in the vehicle that you don’t have any Charge Scheduling ENABLED that can keep it from charging. We found this out in our MY to where my Son didn’t have anything scheduled (i.e. charge outside of TOU, 4pm to 9pm), but my Tesla APP did. The Destination Charger would only show a blue bar even after power cycling it. Same on resetting the computer until I disabled the TOU schedule on my Tesla App did the MY start charging again.

very solid advise! I did check that. And it wasplugged in for over 24 hours. So either way it should have charged at some point.

Congrats!! That’s awesome! Mine charged fine for the first few days. It sounds like it’s an isolated incident. So hopefully it’s not widespread.

Check to make sure that you don’t have scheduled charging set on the Charger side (not the car side)

Via the app you can change this if you added you gen 3 wall connectors to the app.
If you select scheduled charging in the charger you can’t override it via the car

I wish it was that easy!
Tesla service has had the truck for a week now.

the believe it’s the PCS or Power Conversion System. Waiting on part to arrive.
part #18

Man that stinks being so soon. You never know about these modules. some come right from factory bad. I've changed a few power modules in my time and some just don't work right out of the box. Lately it seems there are more faulty electronic components than 20 years ago with a lot of different types of sensors, modules and all comms, electrical components. Being a fully electric, computer controlled vehicle i know there will always be issues. Just hope components get better. Maybe Tesla needs to start making 100 percent own equipment. quality control and a better product.

Wow that is a bummer, let us know if that ends up being it or if it something else, did they give you an estimate on how long it would take to swap and get the part in?
Tough to wait that long for the truck to get it and have it taken back for a while.

I also have a charging problem at home. As we're waiting for a level2 charging installation we must charge with the mobile connecter on 110 outlet in the garage. Problem is the mobile connecter fails to charge, goes to red after flashing blue. Tried different outlets on different circuits. Went to Tesla service and it works there. Tried at 2 different houses, same issue. So we're using the wall charger from our gen1 Chevy Volt. Taking the wall charger back to a service center this week.
