Is anyone without a wrap or ppf having these issues?

wrapping requires a lot of heat and stretching / pulling on the panel - I am curious if this is related or at least affected by this process.
Yes, in the post right above yours is the youtube video of an unwrapped one. It was from 8 months ago. He did a DIY wrap about 1 month ago.

I wonder if this issue has been fixed with more recent CT builds?

Maybe (hoping) they changed the way it's applied on CTs built in Q4 2024?

Isn't it just the correct amount and location of blue loctite threadlocker?
Surely those procedures could be fixed in a jiffy and have after several reports and it coming off while driving down a highway! (I'm sure that got some "attention").

I am happy to report that I overreacted to the issue, after watching the video that Scottf200 posted.

I checked mine and both adjustment bolts were loose and I couldn't see any Loctite on the threads.

Quick trip to HD for loctite, 15 min adding loctite, and tightening the bolts, no more issues.

Glad some people are having the nut issue and not the full glue issue like some of ours are

I hope so, appears to be frequently mentioned on multiple forums (Reddit, YouTube, etc.) for at least 8 months. I wish Tesla would acknowledge the potential of panels coming off.

I think part of the problem is that the "nut issue" can turn into the "glue issue". If the nut is overtight, it can pull the trim away from the adhesive. And if a loose nut causes the trim to extend away from the body, then it will catch aero.

I think this is the issue. The nut is loose and the peace vibrates and shakes and bangs around, which breaks the glue bond, cause it get to blow off.

The leading edge of the cantrail is towards the front of the vehicle where it catches all of the wind. That piece needs to be attached as securely as possible.

Always useful when you post an issue to specify your VIN number. Some issues have been resolved at certain production milestones. This I believe was discovered and taken care of in June last year as mentioned above, so shouldn’t be an issue for anyone with VIN higher than 19-20k if I recall where we were at that time.

Glad to see you discovered the problem before it became an incident.
