Back in the day I had an F-150 that I had Rhino lined the bed and it was great, really durable and looked sharp.

How is the plastic holding up for you? Are you using any sort of mat or other protection? It’s a truck and I’m going to use it as one, but I still want it looking presentable.

I’m looking forward to my SAWD coming hopefully in June or July as I ordered pretty early. I check the damn app multiple times a day just staring at the picture of it. Please send help!

I’ve only hauled a bed full of luggage and coolers really. No damage looks new still, it’s awefully dirty bc I now live on a dirt road and the cover lets in micro sand dust.

There is an article on Penetone somewhere talking about using it off spec to refresh the plastics on the Cybertruck. I haven't tried it yet.

45k here. Logs, dirt, bikes, lots of junk recycle steel, montana river rock, even filled it with water for a pool. Looks great, but honestly why drive with bed open if not using. To show off a clean bed?

Sure one can put rhino spray type liner. I think that is for people that are used to doing that to a truck. Rinse repeat. If the bed looks bad after actually using it. Then put that in.

I caution against refreshing stuff for bed. I used that to black up my trim on outside of bed and it looks awesome. Yet it is slick. I wouldn't want that on a bed floor.

Really a great bed for the truck that comes standard. Compared to a lot of other trucks that require a mod.

Edit add: For when I want it to look nice for tailgating and stuff I have a piece of black boat carpet I had cut to fit bed and tailgate. Has rubberized backing so it doesn't slip around.

Your Amazon account has several rubberized extremely durable liners that eliminate the slick bottom texture. After installing objects don't slide around and the material is easy to clean, low cost and will last decades.

It usually looks like trash from the factory - so the only way to go is up..

With my FS AWD after 40K mikes and many loads, it showed wear, but no worse than trucks with sprayed in bed liners. When I got the new Cyberbeast I went ahead and got a mat from Amazon that works great.

I use a liner in mine, which takes most of the abuse. It's easy to yank out and hose off. Not sure if your truck comes with floor liners for the inside.. You can probably pick up a full liner package to cover everything... the bed, smugglers bay, frunk, driver side, passenger side, and rear seating area.

After multiple loads of rocks, etc, it looks great after a nice wash clean. I would only put rhino liner if needed once I wear this bed out but doesn't look like that will be anytime soon.

I guess if one likes carrying an extra 40-70 lbs for peace of mind. Put in a Rhino liner.

I was going to say the bed is the best thing about the Cybertruck. Tough, durable and rust free. But then I realized the Cybertruck has too many really strong features to call the bed the best thing about it! But I've never had a truck with a bed that needed a liner less than the Cybertruck. Mine is still unlined and it looks great, like it will easily outlast the truck.

Six areas to the bed. What I’ve done, status and next steps:

rear of bed, by the cab, thick rubber cover dbl side tape on, good coverage, perfect/protecting from impacts, future no change

tailgate top, dbl sided tape metal plate covers, perfect/protecting with lots of hits due to frequency of vulnerable area, dream of going stainless top cap one day for better looks, future may change

tailgate inside, same as rear, thick rubber cover dbl sided tape, protecting, very good but edges are exposed, not 100% coverage, future unsure as there are not a lot of solutions

bed floor, TripleAliners bed mat, thick, perfect/protective, future no change

bed sides, nothing yet, want Xpel Armour, planned when I have time, but not urgent as impacts are minor, future Xpel Armour

bed side top rails, nothing yet, like the stainless inlays, not urgent as no impacts yet, future stainless inlays
