There's nothing like a good battle! This time we pit the original cargo vault divider from Tesla vs. the aftermarket version from Teslovix in head-to-head scenarios until a clear winner emerges. Want to see how it turned out? You can find the full article and video here:

Tesla no longer sells the version of the divider you're reviewing/comparing to the aftermarket version.

So the real value and engagement would be to compare head-to-head against the current Tesla version that has removable feet, and as such accommodates the height of bed liners.

Please buy me one of the updated Tesla models with removable feet and I am happy to do another comparison. :p I can only compare with what I have. I would not think removing feet would mean that the bottom of the Tesla unit would grip as well as compared to the aftermarket one that still has a large rubber foot that can be adjusted to tighten the fit. You make a good point, but again I don't have one of those units to test, but happy to do so in order to make this a 2-part series.

If you're goal is really to help out the community, you could be more explicit with your review title or conclusion, i.e. "Teslovix bed divider beats discontinued OEM Tesla divider but TBD on the version you can buy now".

We have to assume you're getting affiliate commission from your Teslovix discount code. Hopefully that will earn you enough to buy the v2.0 version from Tesla and you will consider a follow-up review.

I agree, if you’re going to do a comparison review - review the current market item from each party.

Actually no they don't yet have an affiliate program but they did supply their version for me to test. I will have to see if Tesla wants to do the same 😁😁

Tesla made revisions to the lock mechanism and added removeable feet
I think part of the problem is no one knows when they made these revisions so if you bought one from a 3rd party you'd have to find that out and as I recall for some period of time Tesla was selling both styles, presumably until they ran out of the original style. I have not seen any documentation on what changed with the lock mechanism so that would be interesting to find out as well.

So Teslovix is not Kai after all? That’s what they told me after Kai absconded with ACH money he took from one of my physician friends for a fridge he didn’t send him.
Interestingly I think he mentioned to both of us separately that he would be involved with a new brand called Teslovix.
Is that accurate on your end Ken?
Guess the other question I have is whether Teslovix is in some way going through the process of becoming a sponsor here?

An educated guess is that the original version didn’t work with bed mats possibly including the textile mat they started to sell.

So Kia is now part of Teslovix and not Tesstudio? Wait - He actually stole money from your friend for a product and never sent it? Yikes.... We've had some shady stuff happen here before but that's the new low bar. I think @Tesstudio needs to explain this one.

It was pretty early on.. The V1 had the issue with the feet. I have the V2 Tesla that I got I'd say around Dec 24' that has the removable feet. Don't know what was done to the lock mechanism.

This is correct, some of them were so tight they didn't fit without any bed mat. The V2 version fits fine once you take the feet off with a bed mat.

This is my experience as well.
