Around 2000 miles. I have about 3000 on the odometer now. Not my primary daily driver. Given that the problem didn’t happen from day one I think it’s a fair assumption that this is related to the glue and or whatever fasteners they use in the door deteriorating over time.

Annoying nuisance of a problem….
My driver door rattled the day I drove it off the lot. 6 months later I’m still trying to get the problem fixed.

I’m working with my Service center to replace the door striker and latch first as my door rattles a little bit. Which leads me to believe that if the door is not fully secure when driving at high speeds, it could cause the door to vibrate. If this doesn’t work, I’m working with the service manager to get the door replaced.

I have the same issue. But it sounds like replacing the doors right now. Doesn’t really do much good because the problem comes right back. Is that correct or am I not reading this correctly?

In my case the answer is yes, it didn't do much good long term as the issue came back. I was scheduled to go tomorrow morning to a Tesla Collision center in Ontario tomorrow morning. But the collision center rescheduled me with a regular service center and told me they can do the repair/replacement and there was no need for me to go there now. I was only scheduled to go there in the first place because my regular service center said they don't do body work and they changed appointment to there.

But for the sake of clarification, I called the Ontario collision center to hear someone explain this first hand and I was told that after a repair fails, they typically just replace the entire door and that the procedure is just a bolt on job that can be performed at any Tesla Service center. Which makes sense to me.

But then just now I recalled that some people who have had their doors replaced ended up having to get the entire side of the truck refinished because the doors didn't match properly.. This is obviously body work, and not something my regular service center said they can do. :ROFLMAO:

So who knows what's going to happen? Still waiting on the regular service center to confirm my appointment for tomorrow morning. I planed my entire schedule to be able to drop the truck off tomorrow morning, so it would be nice if it wasn't for nothing.

Yes, the entire side of the truck will have to get micro sanded by the collision center. I had to do that after my front fender and cantrail on the driver side were replaced.

I just don’t want the body shop to touch the door because they always fuck something up whenever they touch it as far as repairs go.

The Tesla Ontario collision center is pretty good. I was rear ended last year and the repair came out better than when it was new off the lot. Although they also did fix the three doors previously and they are failing now,

But to be fair, I have no doubt they followed the procedures from Tesla correctly. I just don't think the repair process is well suited for permanent repair and the results/success rate will vary.

At this point, I would file a complaint with the regional service Director for your service center. I’m curious though if they do have to replace the door who does it the service center or the body shop?
Depends on the location I think. One service center I regularly go to does it in house but the one my truck is currently at right now claims they partner with a local Tesla approved body shop.

How many miles before the vibration started?
After the service bulletin? For me, it never fully fixed it. It was minimal but still there at 75+mph speeds. But about 2 months after(~4k miles), it went back to vibrating a lot like my original complaint.

Took mine to a service center in Costa Mesa, CA. They only acknowledged one of the doors was delaminating because the other three doors didn't make the metallic rattling noise when closing the door. Even though tapping on spots of the other three doors clearly show the rattling sound from panels delaminating, they said that their test method requires the rattle sound to happen when closing the door. 🤡

They did completely replace the one door (according to the repair invoice) and the mirror assembly for the door. Which is good I guess. But I do have some concerns. This service center doesn't do body work at all and from my understanding from others that have had panels replaced, the entire side of the truck has to be refinished for the replacement panels to match. Mayne they found the perfect match for my truck, but I doubt it. lol.

I'm picking it up later tonight after work. But my hopes are not super high. I plan on just scheduling another appointment with a more competent service center (if such a thing exists) for the other three doors soon.

My 24 FS shook for all 26000 miles I owned it. I just took a road trip in my 26 premium and it shakes as well

Welp, I mean it could look worse. 😂

The best part is when I asked the guy if they do body work now, since a replacement door would require refinishing the side of the truck per Tesla’s own service manual, the guy told me they don't replace doors anymore and that they would repeat the repair process that has already failed once before.

Before picking it up last night, I was surprised when I saw the invoice that showed the door was in fact replaced. But I thought, surely they wouldn’t replace the door and not make sure it matched the truck.

But then I was told I couldn’t pick the truck up until after 6:00 pm, which I thought was little strange since it seemed like they finished earlier that day according to the invoice that was already completed stating the work was done.

I’m pretty sure they wanted me to get the truck at night because it would be harder to see the door panel mismatch and even if I did, there would be no one there to point it out too.

Not sure what my next step is, as of right now I can’t book another service appointment because it’s still locked to this one. But I’m going to probably pick a different service center and ask for it to be escalated to a regional manager to approve all of the doors be fixed and truck be refinished.

I would also like to take a poll and see who has gotten their door replaced due to door vibration or mirror vibration. And subsequently, how many still have the issue versus it being completely fixed. They did the service bulletin on mine twice now and the mirror was replaced. However, it’s still vibrates a little bit. Just wondering if it’s worthwhile to replace the door at this point or if it’s a lost cause. The mirror vibrates over 75 mile an hour speed.

Would appreciate feedback from those who have gotten their doors replaced.
I have 3 Cyberbeasts and all driver's side door panels replaced with the vibration issues initially fixed. The vibration eventually came back over time but to a lesser degree.

Had mine “serviced” and the vibration was corrected. That being said my door has developed a “warbling” sound when closing.

Thanks all -

Im getting my 2025 PAWD finally replaced. Chose a replacement rather than a straight up buyback. So as not to lose out on the $7500 Fed. Tax credit as well as the $2000 referral and college student credit that I got back in Septemeber of 2025.

Will be ordering a 2026 PAWD next week. New warranty should be better as well.

Fingers crossed that the door vibration is not present on the new one....

Excellent news.

I assume that the fluttering/vibrating door issues have been addressed by engineering and assembly line updates after 2.5 years of Cybertruck production.

Keep us posted on your fresh 2026.
