I was going to upgrade my awd to a beast but because they have become anti consumer jerks with this moron “take delivery by 31st”, which they cannot guarantee, f Tesla. Lost sale. I was also thinking about getting the roadster, but the inability to get lifetime FSD on it is a huge turn off.

Their further messaging of “we don’t really ever want to let you have the option of driving or owning your own car, and we probably don’t want to even make any cars, other than subscription robotaxis”, is a huge fu to long time Tesla supporters and a huge turnoff on the company.

Their company credo is a little too much you'll own nothing and be happy for my taste at this point. And the hostility toward cybertruck early adopters leaves a bad taste. My last hope is they get back a little humility when it comes to HW3 retrofits and make one final FSD transfer concession around the time my HW6 60k cybertruck is ready for delivery.

I am hoping/waiting/predicting that they extend the delivery (not order) deadline into q2, which they’ve already done in at least parts of Europe/Asia.

it would make sense for customers (at least the ones willing to order a premium CT) who feel burned by the ‘shenanigans’, generate lots of sales in q2, plus they’re already doing transfers in q2 anyway for cars that don’t arrive by the deadline.

if my prediction is right, I will order a CT later this month, if not- not happening.

Obviously the ‘transfer gate’ debacle all stemmed from needing to generate sales for this quarter, but next quarter will be challenging too because of seasonality and people waiting for cybercab, which won’t arrive in volume until at least q3/q4.

Yeah I will keep my order in, but a launch RS2 at 60k is a calling. I have two that I could FSD transfer, but I really don't need FSD on my next purchase. If I could transfer great, but this crap makes me look elsewhere, when I only wanted a Slate as a local car.

Then said hey I will order a CT. Did that. Got switched on the FSD deal. Now I look at other brands much more.

From the app loyalty page for the Cybertruck, it lists FSD transfer. That would mean, you can transfer FSD, if transferring to a Cybertruck.

I thought all transfers had to be done by end of march. Might just be a vestigial page they haven't updated?

Seems this topic is popping up again wiith the imminent deliveries. Hope we can discuss the topic in this thread rather than the "Delivery" thread.

It’ll be popping up as people cancel their orders if Tesla doesn’t oblige FSD transfers.
